Actually the female characters and the shows in general took a dip with Ekta Kapoor entering and made Kyunki and the 20 other K shows. She literally created s new genre which most shows now are based on. When YRRKH started it worked because it was nothing like the K shows n to an extent that’s still almost true….but you can see some inspirations now 😩

Ekah is right before there were such a variety of shows…like horror shows like Aahat, real comedy like Hum Panch and Kichidi, family shows like Amanat n many others
