Also 3 Idiots was awesome and its interesting how sensitive you are being now when its about some sexist jokes (compared to our discussion regarding Muslim representation).

Yeah, you need to be EXTREEEEEEMELY sensitive to get offended over a movie where the word 'rape' is repeated 20 times in five minutes as a joke. Such over-sensitive pansies, I tell you.

About Muslim representation in Sooryavanshi, there is nothing wrong with showing facts. 1993 blasts were done by Islamic radicals, and all Muslims were not shown as bad. End of story. There's no comparison between them.

Romantic love is not something a pre-pubescent would understand. It includes physical attraction, sexual jealousy and stuff.

The movie was garbage, but I find this objection a bit silly. Guys are attracted to femininity, Anjali was a tomboy in college, you're not find many straight guys who will be attracted to a woman that gives off dude vibes.

I think he did have feelings for her but was not able to see her that way because of the way she acted and dressed.

Will a girl be attracted to a guy who acted and dressed like one? Maybe, but not many..

KKHH will forever spike up heated debates. I’m sick to death of Rahul being treated like a criminal for having a type. He was into feminine girls and had every right to be attracted based on his preferences. Anjali was a tomboy and therefore not his type at that time. When Rahul met Anjali after 8 years, she had become more feminine and graceful, which was aligned with his preferences. He began to see her in a new light. Hello sexual attraction, nice to meet ya. It’s as simple as that.

Ya’ll acting like nobody got a type here. Let’s break it down shall we? HR from Main Prem Ki Dewaani Hoon. You gonna look me dead straight in the eye and tell me that you’d fall for a guy who behaves like this?

Would you rather this fine specimen of humanity?

Same person but two complete different characterisations. The way they dress, look and act is as different as chalk and cheese. It’s not my fault that I find the second character 100 x more attractive. That’s what I’m attracted too. For the life of me, I wouldn’t even look at his Prem avatar once forget twice. Same to same scenario for Rahul.

I said the same thing 3 years ago and was tempted to copy and paste. I feel like tattooing it onto my forehead at this point.

Annoying man loves women who subscribe to stereotypical femininity, rejects Tom-boy BFF, only for Tom-boy bff to dump her genuinely loving fiancé for this annoying man. There, I fixed it.

Weird how I used to love KKH as a child. God I really am ageing.

While I agree with your basic point, Rahul made fun of Anjali the tomboy & playfully undermined her. Now I know he didn’t have malafide intentions, but it hurt her deeply. Hence her change to deep femininity & ‘Adab’ a decade or so, on. We can argue etc that Rahul was an immature kid, a young man, bla bla bla. But bottom line is- You can be attracted to whoever you want, you just don’t need to be a dick about it. :)
