Even if it was done by host before families arrival still this would have been ok.. because whats the purpose of all this to help the contestants up their game right .. so there wasn't any need for the drama

that depends on pov and I don't think it was wrong as WKW nahi hota aur Teja who was so pathetic said she calls Raq Dada still was so crap towards Shamita. Even as a woman she was 🤢 and we all know she said it deliberately and not as mazak or action reaction.
