Her pr needs to chill, not every thing she does deserves hype

I watched this twice (masochist) to see what was so bad about Sam's acting but still couldn't notice any acting aside from whatever misbegotten hell Akshay's emerged from. He's been insanely OTT before but this is an abomination. There should be a warning for the elderly, young children and those with weak hearts.

Man …ppl don’t give chinmayi enough credit for saving her ass all these years

She dubbed for herself in Telugu, for 2 films….mahanati (where she had a 30 min role) and u turn (where her dubbing was criticised)

Rest all were dubbed by chinmayi the singer (she sang titli from Chennai xpress) or someone else

Her debut ye Maaya Chesave got her a lot of recognition coz ppl fell in love with her character’s voice (again chinmayi)..which is why she repeated chinmayi again and again even in some of her Tamil films

She mostly dubs for herself in Tamil ..but her Tamil work isn’t as acclaimed …she mostly played flowerpots barring 3-4 films

She dubbed for family man but raaji had 6 or 7 dialogues throughout

Not sure why people are criticising Akki's acting - he fits the bill here perfectly. He is supposed to be goofy and whacky and he does that

The actress on the other hand single handedly brings down the energy of the ad with her expressionless acting. It was Katrina level horrendous - present day Katrina would probably have done a better job

Chinmay needs to get atleast aaaahalf of the credit for Sam success, if not for her voice i dont think Sam would be where she is.

Her movie U turn is enough of a turn off, i have watched the kannada version with Shradda Srinath and Sam single handedly ruint the Telugu one with her dubbing, how many movies has she even dubbed for herself? Chinmay always comes for the rescue.

Heck even in A Aa, Anupama being a new comer without knowing the language dubbed for herself and Sam was so dismissive through out the promotions with Nadiya nd Anupama.

Sonam, Kat, Dp are all trolled here so much for their voice modulation.

Chinmayi had to dub for Sam initially because Sam didn't know Telugu. But their combination became such a big hit that directors kept repeating Chinmayi for dubbing despite Sam learning Telugu.

But nothing is wrong with her voice, per se. She dubbed for herself in Theri and she was fine. Sample:
