This movie is relevant in today's scenario.

The movie was made and released when BJP was at power at the centre, with Vajpayee as the PM.

The movie was targeting George Fernandez ( who was a part of the government) plus also targeted the VHP/RSS and still got released and was a massive success except for the scene where Aamir was riding the horse because Menaka Gandhi was a minister none of the scenes were chopped..

It was a good movie and all of them acted well, I mean I can't stand Aamir and Siddharth in real life but they were damn good.
