Need clarification from today's episode

Today when purab was bashing Rohit he said he was in relationship with sargham and what would purab do if she becomes mother of his kid right? Wont this clear purab's doubt? Is he not that smart to join the dots? Someone clarify

ZI think he is too upset to think of the possibility right now. He has been shown as an intelligent fellow (except in realising the true colours of his bestie), so with a calm mind he will connect the dots. In a way I would prefer that coz then Taps keeps her promise and Purab can deal with the matter too. I mentioned the same in EDT.
