@bold: This exactly.....pure basic setup mein hi total gadbad hai as you said. Again, it's all thanks to makers ka need to do their double minded cheap bakwaas. Na dhang ka office romance setup kar paaye and na hi Imlie ki achievements ka maan rakh paaye.....everything has been tainted by Udhaarwaale ki bakwaas, the favoritism and manipulations of Imlie but she sadly will never get it. Her talent and abilities were all hijacked to make her a prop for this guy's games to put down Adi and now she will never know whether it was her talent truly valued or the fact that this guy was creeping on her that made him promote her.
And sadly those of us who point this out are also labeled "jealous" of Imlie just like Aryan did to the interns in the scene.....lol gaslighting zindabaad is the only motto of this show's writers.
The makers actually think these kind of lame defenses from Aryan will be swallowed as him "defending Imlie ka honor".....lol yeah we are all supposed to forget how he himself first propped up that gossip about himself and Imlie by continuing to favor her in front of everyone.....koi actual dhang ka boss hota toh he'd try to put out the impression ki bias nahin hai, sabke liye equal opportunities hain....but this guy starts openly promoting and favoring her all the more every chance he gets.....lol and audience is now privy to his romantic interest in her, still he's saying all this with a straight face and makers want to sell this all as "angsty romance"....lol ok
Our point is basically Adi's point- we have never doubted Imlie's capabilities but she didn't get her achievements based on her work. But yeh point out karna is character pe sawaal uthan according to Imlie 2.0 & Dida ke fans.
That is why our sympathy for Imlie's plight got eroded. We cannot connect to her when she goes on the offense that I have achieved everything on my own & my actions with the boss are all above board. Imlie 2.0 likes to play too much of abla naari regarding her relationship with Adi when Dida wants to play the saviour. Now the audience cannot tell that Imlie has never given a cause for is to doubt her.
Dida defending Imlie's honor is a joke when paise phenkte hi he forces her to cover AM marriage cover story even when she doesn't want to. He gives opportunities to the Loservedi maa-beti to humiliate Imlie all the time. Office rumours ka shikaar bhi Imlie iske blatant favouritism ki wajah se hai. So kya khaak honor defend kiya hai iss bande ne Imlie ka? Loser.
I toh never understood why the makers had to show so called "career development" of Imlie while she is still a first year student. Internship is different than an actual job. There was no need to bestow her with an undeserved job & taint her own hard earned achievements😵.
