Note: I’ll make a separate post on this: we can use as reference. I will try and ask mods to see if this can stay on front page: so all new viewers and actors who donot watch their own show can stay in loop of what is used in their show by other characters!

This is one show, where it is quite difficult to decide what is bashing & what is normal- acceptable as it is used in the show itself by creatives through characters! As part of characters characteristics!

Let’s list out some: so we can reference & point out if someone who finds it weird may have missed those few episodes / tracks/ parts …

(In normal world all this will be bad words. But in show. They are used sparingly)

Looks like to cover the uproar for Covid insensitivity a major ploy to trap regular, loyal viewers at all platforms is being used. Easy to create mess that way: but pushes people out!

Dear..what u wrote here..what ur mother said is one of the best thing I heard after I lost my mom..I felt like my own mom would say the same.. ..u knw. many people said so many things to pacify after her passing away...but nothing made sense.becz no one really know what to say.

I remember those days too when I used to visit the forum last February - March as a silent member would be so dead, the CM ranking in the first 2-3 weeks was in late 20s. There wouldn’t be posts to comment or stories to read😕

Only since the leap, articles started coming, actors were introduced through segments and IG posts and the forum picked up some momentum.

Prema, I realize I was the one that egged you on to make a separate thread for your LUs so it would be easy for me (and others) to access.

Sorry if that made things worse.

As for discussions, yep it should be allowed to call out the writing and the characters. It’s always the writing that causes the characters to behave a certain way that seems unpalatable. The actors aren’t at fault. It’s probably in their contract - they have to perform as per the script.

I might have slipped here and there couple of times, but sometimes have edited my posts and sometimes not and I apologize for that,

You know off late there has been an increase in the visits to my profile by certain fans of a particular actor or the couple (could figure it out from their user name or profile picture) whom I have hardly interacted with and they have been liking my negative posts on Shiva and Raavi and now I am assuming they are the ones who complained about a certain lead character being bashed or trolled.

If they ever come back and like my negative posts on other characters other than their favorites/leads, am going to report them for stalking me and my posts. I have dealt with couple of them during the danda kaand and I know exactly who they are.

Atleast I have the guts to say that I am going to report someone or their posts but these members do it silently and think I don’t know who they are.

Prema Akka! You should definitely report them! I can't believe the extent to which these people can go, especially when none of us have ever used foul language...

Even those couple times we had those crazy Shivi fanfics, I think we dealt with all but that one woman (who was bashing the younger members of the forum on the AU DT) sensibly. And even that was only extreme trolling.

Our forum is nothing in comparison to the Shivi Twitter fandom, so I didn't really get what the Mod note was about. Although I understand the need for moderation, there has never been outright bashing ever, I think, either of characters, or of actors.

PS Written updates are your choice, of course, given the time and effort that goes into them... But I do think it would be a good idea to continue them if and when you feel like it, seeing as a lot of people do wait for then everyday, and, although I'm not sure how many people are vocal about it, I'm sure they appreciate it too!

I agree on the part of bashing the actors which is a big no- no, but not call out on the characters or their actions? Then should we call all the character saints and best thing to happen to this entire world.

But I deserve this for being a sincere fan, writing updates day in and day out and being an active member of this forum for 9 long months.
Henceforth, absolutely no written updates from me especially for those silent members who can’t wait for me to post the written update. I get atleast 200 views on it every single day since I made a separate thread for it this past week, If you are that interested to know what’s happening in the show, watch it yourself.

If the members have enough time to read all the posts here and complain to the Mods, they very well have time to watch episodes too.

I am one of the silent member in this forum since long time who is relying on your LU's. I have not encounter anything where anyone have really used extreme foul language even for any character. Bashing/trolling or commenting on character in decent language should be okay as that is the part of the forum and I dont think they should have any problem for the same.
