The point if the scene was that these two need to get laid. And that they will even fight in order to stay near/with each other. Quite stupid.

Ah yes, I can see that. (Never watched Mr. & Mrs. Smith - I have feelings about this lol). I did think the rolling around was a bit much and it makes sense, especially after the dance.

I agree. I felt for both Arpita and Aryan in that scene. The very real trauma that has led to their pain. What would make it better if Imlie isn’t “victorious” in this instance and somebody actually call her out on how serious this was. But that won’t happen. ITV and all.

As always agree with your take. I felt this too - the dance was emotional for her, and confusing. You could see the confusion in her gaze, then the tear fell. Aditya is just a distraction from everything else. But thanks to AC (the more annoying and infuriating of characters) we’ll hopefully get Imlie fussing over Aryan and forgetting about Aditya for a minute?

Yeah totally. She's an emotional hot-mess in general right now.

But that dance, it was like, I don't know - that scene on the way to the hotel, where Aryan stopped and told her get out. She cried on the side of the road because everything had been building to that moment and she could do nothing else.

The dance reminds me of that scene. He had asked her "What are you waiting for? Someone to pick you up off the road and take you home with them?". But by doing that he told her "I'm here".

This dance basically Aryan saying "I'm here" (contrary to his "I don't want to dance with you. I'm doing it to distract you). Gosh the movements, the poses (the "romantic poses 😂😂😂, but I digress), how he held her close. And when it was over he didn't let go. She was affected by him. And yeah, I'm majorly hoping for an Imlie fussing over Aryan once calm reigns again 😂

Okay, so my two cents on the episode...

I can really see the makers attempt at phasing out Aditya and Malini this week with the spotlight on Aryan and Imlie to test the waters. Ab to next week hi pata chalega, iska result kya hoga. With Gashmeer leaving, they actually want to not lose the momentum they have gained so far.

Okay, coming to the episode - the dance was more an internal struggle than dance in my opinion. Two people so close yet so far away, a continuous push and pull, the feelings being so strong that they are beginning to surface and both are hell confused as to what is happening. For Imlie her marriage and Aditya were always a priority, for Aryan his family and his revenge from Aditya have been a priority. But now the earth has shifted on its axis, where jo priorities thi woh change hone lagi hai. Something else has begun to matter to them, and it is scaring them both. These unspoken emotions between the two are causing an emotional upheaval for both of them. As soon as Imlie feels it, she uses Aditya as a shield (pyaar/concern/insaaniyat). As soon as Aryan begins to feel it, Aditya here too becomes a shield (bad guy/revenge/shield apne). It's so weird that both use Aditya as a point of connection because they both don't want to acknowledge that their feelings which are growing at a tremendous pace are their point of connection now.

Haaye, so much back & forth, angst, aansun, jhagda and all will take these two to come on the same page regarding their feelings. Let's see who acknowledges first.

Bhai, whoever finds the precap scary, bhai isse jyaada funny cheez maine life me nahi dekhi🤣. What the fck was going on? Imlie rekha and all, kya melodrama hai be. Ye log fight bhi karte hai, tab bhi its like the world has phased out. Bhai Arpita will pass out, usko to dekhlo apne maje ke chakkar me bhul gaye😆 Well, it seems to me Arpita will manage to overcome this time. Kaun the woh log jinko ointment wagera ki khwaish thi, shayad aane wala hai beheno😆. Waise, AC ko thanks, aap jaise dushman ho, to doston ki koi zarurat nahi hai.😆

Red- It's me jisko Imlie ke haathon mein Dettol antiseptic liquid aur Zandu Balm dekhna hai🤣🤣🤣 Aur haan dher sara guilt bhi Imlie k ander for physically harming Aru baby.

Imlie k mooh se itne sare BS jaap sunne k baad upar likha hua compensation scenes toh milna hi chahiye.

Yeh Imlie jis tarah se Aryan k upar girti padti rehti hai.... What if Imlie ka forehead Aryan ke khoon se rang jaye aur..... Tada!!!!! Khoon bhari maang ki khwaish bhi puri.

Actual shadi na sahi viewers ko iss type ki unofficial shadi toh dekhne ko mil jayegi

I was like WTH?! Full on fight, but wait, we need some flower petals floating through the air! 🤦🏽‍♀️

They did that because they are going to use these scenes later in flashbacks when Aryan and Imli miss each other.😂😂

You know, this has been on my mind. Not to make it all about s*x. But like whether Imlie chooses to accept it or not, the decision to not be intimate with BS (for reasons I understand), it is indicative of what that relationship really was versus what she is making it out to be.

Will she figure that out on her own?

And will Aryan ever find out and if so, what will he think?

The first dance... they are masked not only in reality but metaphorically too. They are not showing their true selves. The dance is almost routine, mechanical. It's like watching one of those snow globe dances come to life à la that similar scene in Om Shanti Om.

Then we have the dream dance but I don't really think it's meant to be viewed as a dream dance. The masked dance is what they are showing on the surface, with them hiding their feelings whilst the supposed dream dance is a truer depiction of what they are... their real feelings.

All the simmering undercurrents, passion and rawness came to the fore there. It actually felt like they were making love on the dance floor

...and I absolutely loved it.

You totally manifested this! I swear. Loved the way you described it. It was so beautiful wasn't it? And when it was over she walked away with her mask on and he took his off.
