Yeh I did!
I was beyond satisfied how the entire 2nd half was executed. I truly feel Nandini fall on LOVE with Vanraj while her feelings were quite immature for Sameer. I felt she was that teenage girl who got the attention and hence got drawn towards Sameer. I don't think she even knew what LOVE was back then. May be Sameer's feelings were more mature but as for Nandini, nahhh I don't think she "loved loved" Sameer. This is the reason when she finally acknowledges how she understood the real meaning of love and how she has fallen for Vanraj made a lot of sense in the end.
And it doesn't matter what her dad did, or Sameer or even Vanraj. What mattered were her feelings and her choice. Nothing takes precedence over her feelings and whom she wanted to spend her life with. And that was Vanraj. This is the reason, execution mattered and Bhansali did a great job with this movie. His last movie I truly enjoyed!
yes I agree Sameer & Nandini loved each other and her dad was forceful and oppressive but her husband was loving and put her happiness first
in that moment when i was younger nope now that im mature totally righy decision
You can't have both ways. Have the cake 🍰 and eating it.
Sameer chose the father over the girl.
Vanraj chose the girl over EVERYTHING.

True but in the end Sameer also let her go . He didn’t force her to stay with him. He felt Nandini s reluctance and told her to go
No the ending killed the movie for me. Everyone gave good performances, especially Aish but the shitty ending ruined the story.
Weirdly pro arranged marriage (even for it's time that seems regressive?) and I felt bad for Salman's character
She fell out of love with Salman and fell in love with Ajay by the end. Can this happen in real life? Yeah very realistic, unfortunately.
But did I want to see this in a movie that I usually watch to escape the crappy realities of life? No, it's frustrating to watch.
Indian movies have this concept that once you are married it’s forever even though you were not in love with the person in the 1st place.
In HDDCS, Sameer and Nandini were so much in love but I cannot digest the change of heart from Nandini even though I prefer Vanraj over Sameer.
The movie Silsila also had the same issue. Both Big B and Rekha’s characters were so much in love and were ready to elope together even after being married to separate people but had a change of heart at the last minute! I didn’t like the ending of both movies.
I am in love with Salman now. His performance in that 2006 movie Baabul was shockingly cute and underrated. His chemistry with Rani was off the...
