Yes but I have always maintained a line between us. And now after all this we are not on talking terms because there is no point being friends with him.
and to your last question I would say that..no, never liked the attention. Not that type of a person :)

Don't give him that room to pour his feelings again and again. Once is enough for the message to hit home -- you got the message that he has feelings for you. What more does he want?! Getting over you and the rest of the work for closure is something he has to walk himself through, no one else can provide that to him. Unless he wants you to be his object of affection plus a therapist at the same time? Again, sounds like a hot mess to me. I would create lots of space, both physical and mental till he finds someone else.

Also, if a guy has feelings for you and insists on being friends with you, don't buy that. He obviously wants to be more that just friends and was just biding his time to make a move..... and looks like he did, again! Don't fall for men who want to be just friends after you turn them down .... cuz they're lying!

somehow i feel like you like his attention too.... do you? quit being a heartbreaker and let the poor guy be!

i dont see any issue in it, just listen and if you dont want to, then dont do it, you seem interested enough to know that he has written a letter and what that letter entails etc etc

I have a simple solution. Just follow these steps.

1. Call him, arrange a meeting at the cliff of a mountain and tell him to bring the letter

2. Tell him to start reading the letter at the cliff.

3. As soon as he starts the letter, snatch the letter from him, tear it into pieces and throw on his face.

4. Then leave and enjoy your life.

Oh man .. started off in such a promising manner with meeting at the cliff. But that was disappointing. I was hoping for a cold blooded murder 'of friendship'

I truly wished you could have suggested a push off the cliff
