Television actor Karanvir Bohra has responded to the ongoing buzz surrounding his marriage to wife Teejay Sidhu. While speculation about their relationship has continued to circulate across social media, the actor chose not to address the rumours in detail and instead appealed for privacy, making it clear that he does not wish to discuss his personal life publicly.

In a recent conversation with ETimes, Karanvir said, “I would not like to talk about this right now. When I don’t want to discuss something, I respectfully say so, and I hope people respect that.” He refrained from commenting further on the reports, maintaining that some aspects of his life are best kept away from public scrutiny.

The actor also spoke about dealing with constant online attention and explained that he has reached a stage where public opinion no longer affects him. According to Karanvir, he does not allow criticism or rumours to disturb his peace of mind and has learned to ignore negativity on social media. He said, “I don’t let anything bother me. Even when netizens say something nasty, I don’t get hurt.”

Karanvir and Teejay Sidhu have been married for almost 20 years. Teejay, who is a Canadian actor, model and former VJ, shares three daughters with Karanvir. The couple welcomed twin daughters, Bella and Vienna, in 2016, followed by their youngest daughter, Gia Vanessa, in December 2020.

Although he chose to stay guarded about his personal life, Karanvir candidly reflected on his professional journey. Looking back at his career, he admitted that there are two television shows he still regrets not being a part of. Revealing that he had been offered roles in Naagin and Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, he said scheduling conflicts prevented him from accepting the projects as he was busy shooting for a film at the time.

Recalling the missed opportunities, Karanvir shared, “I was offered Naagin and Yeh Hai Mohabbatein (the roles eventually played by Arjun Bijlani and Karan Patel, respectively), but I was shooting a film at the time. I genuinely wish I had been a part of those shows.”
