JioStar has unveiled its plans for the next chapter of one of India’s biggest reality shows. The broadcaster has confirmed that Bigg Boss Hindi 20 will go on air in September 2026, with superstar Salman Khan returning to host the milestone season. His comeback as the face of the Hindi edition is expected to add to the excitement surrounding the show’s twentieth outing.

Apart from confirming the premiere window for the Hindi version, JioStar also announced a major expansion of the Bigg Boss franchise across regional languages. In a first for the reality show, six editions will be launched around the same time, making it the biggest multi language rollout in the history of the franchise.

Several familiar personalities will once again take charge as hosts of their respective editions. Actor Vijay Sethupathi has been confirmed to lead the Tamil version, while Nagarjuna will continue hosting the Telugu edition. Kiccha Sudeepa is set to return for the Kannada season and Malayalam superstar Mohanlal will once again headline the Malayalam edition. Meanwhile, former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly is all set to step into the Bigg Boss universe as the host of the Bangla edition, marking his first association with the popular reality show.

The broadcaster is bringing together the Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Bangla versions under a single large scale launch strategy. By introducing multiple editions during the same period, JioStar aims to strengthen the show’s presence across different regions and languages while offering viewers fresh entertainment during the festive season.

With Salman Khan returning for the landmark twentieth season and a strong lineup of celebrated hosts across regional markets, Bigg Boss is gearing up for one of its most ambitious editions yet. The simultaneous launch is expected to expand the franchise’s reach further and reinforce its position as one of the country’s most popular reality television formats.
