Actor Raghav Juyal has broken his silence after a video of him accompanying Shehnaaz Gill through a packed crowd of photographers went viral on social media. The clip was captured after Raghav's birthday celebration in Mumbai and quickly grabbed attention online, with several fans praising the actor for making sure Shehnaaz safely got through the crowd. The video also reignited rumours about the two being more than just friends.

Reacting to the buzz during a conversation with Pinkvilla, Raghav made it clear that his actions should not be linked to relationship rumours. According to the actor, stepping in to protect someone in such a situation is simply a part of his upbringing and something he would do for any woman.

"I have been brought up by my parents as a man. Mere saath koi ladki bhi hoti, uss pe itne saare ladke gir rahe hote. I am brought up that I can give an old fat punch to that person. I am brought up like that; I cannot be that shehri ladka, who says, 'I cannot do that.' No, I will protect till my death," he said.

Explaining his point further, Raghav stated that his behaviour would not have changed irrespective of who was walking beside him. He said protecting the women around him comes naturally and is a value he has grown up with.

"My friends, my family, and the women I'm with. Koi bhi ladki hoti mere saath, hum kahin bhi hote, my nature is to protect, and I will do that to the end. That is how I was brought up. If there is a sacred feminine energy, there is a sacred masculine energy too. I had to protect her. Ek ladki jaa rahi hain aise, I have no inhibitions, tab woh star image ya kuch aur main nahi dekhta," he added.
