Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Kaylee began acting at a young age after first appearing in commercials promoting accessibility and services for the deaf community, including campaigns for Convo. She started working in advertisements in 2017 when she was just nine years old.

Casting director Sarah Halley Finn was introduced to Kaylee through an assistant director who had previously seen her in a Convo commercial. The opportunity marked the beginning of a promising acting career that, though brief, left a lasting impact on audiences around the world.
