NEW FEATURE: My Feeds and User Wall

Hi,

Wish you a very Happy New Year 2022.

For the last few weeks we have been working on a new feature ie. User Feeds which will make interaction between users much easier and it will be easier for our members to browse all the latest on India Forums whether its News, Photos, Videos of their favourite show, actor and posts from their friends on a single page.

You all must have noticed there is a new icon on the left of the PM. We have now centralised stuff so that it's easier for our members to see what their friends are upto. And like/comment on that from that page itself.

Users now have their own wall to post and share things with their friends and we have even allowed users to upload images too.

This feature is still in beta so please excuse us as we are still testing it. 

Going forward we are going to add:

• Show Latest Popular Topics from forums which you regularly visit.
• User will get the option to add their forum topics also in their wall so that their friends get to see it in their feed.
• We will also be adding Fan Fiction to the feeds so that you get to discover new FanFiction.

Do test this out and let us know.

To get started .. do post something on your user wall and it will be shown on your friends' feed.

If you want to get news about your favourite celebrity / show / movie make sure you mark them as favourite  and the system will start showing you any news/update we have on India Forums.

System will even pick up tagged Topics also once they cross certain views and replies.  (not yet active)

Le... this answers your question about the new feature... humne toh achi khaasi chai chat session hi bana li mere feed pe. They say curiosity killed the cat... kisi din mera bhi koi kaand hoga, IF ke naye features dekh kar main jis tarah uchalti hu... baaki friends ko post dekh kar jhatka na lag jaye🤣 🤣🤣

I definitely like the feature though. It was fun experimenting with it. 😆

Looking forward to the more upgraded features like emojis, an extension of the tag limit number (why only 5? 😭), tagged replies, and everything else that you have in mind. Thanks, Team IF. Nicely done 😊

more closely instead of using only PMs, more choices and options are always a very good thing to have.
