an inspector is waiting at the magazine office. both anandhi and thozhar come there, surprised to see a police car outside. they come inside and the inspector says that the AC wants to question anandhi coz, they have recd. a complaint from Reddy's office that anandhi had threatened him to give a written statement against Menaka, etc. anandhi and thozhar reject that completely, the inspector insists that he is not arresting her, only taking her for questioning based on a complaint. anandhi says, there is something fishy here as they have just come back after seeing reddy. she is not afraid to meet AC as she has nothing hide, thozhar says that he will also come along as he was also with anandhi during the meeting with reddy. they all are going...freeze.

Aanandhi and Thozhar in the same restaurant - Aanandhi is talking
about Sudhakar getting in to ICU - "how is it possible?? He was here
in the same restaurant talking about how he got rich!!" Thozhar is
clueless and Aanandhi vows to investigate further - " if I do a meticulous investigation, I am sure I can pin Menu" - Just then Menu calls Aanandhi and warns her -" just mind your business and go ahead with your newspaper. Do not poke your nose in to my affairs. I have some one watching all your activities and the moment I think of u as my enemy, u will be finished" - Aanandhi says that she will not give up her
investigation on Menu and Menu threatens some more. Thozhar comes to know the details and tells Aanandhi that Menu seems to be a woman
with a lot of resources and it will be a good idea to lie low for a while in Menu's issue. Aanandhi is thoughtful.

OQ and Saratha chithi are consulting with a josiyar. OQ is all set to find out about getting Abi married. She wants to know if a second marriage is on the cards for Abi. But the josiyar has totally some thing
else to say. He says that right now Abi's life is in danger and that is the issue to be given priority. He designates some particular temple in
Pudukottai and wants OQ to go there asap. OQ nods agreement ( folks, gear up, OQ is going to shed copious tears ..." Abi, ennoda Abi...vu vu vu - hiyoooo some one please tell her that Abi is still alive and kicking.......)

Aarthi at work - puts on an air of importance and talks to some one over the telephone. She sees a woman leaving work early and decides to exercise her authority. Goes out , calls that woman Jaya and shouts at her for leaving work 2 hours early. Jaya tries to say some thing but Aarthi reminds all that she is the MD - " my Abi akka shed blood and made this company work. I can not allow such crimes - U do get paid for the whole time right??? so work until the office time ends" Thols comes there and says that he is the one who gave permission to Jaya.
He goes on to say that Jaya has given birth to a baby recently and has a lot of problems. Aarthi says that sentiments have no place in work place. Thols goes on to say that all their staff are like family -" when we went through a difficult phase, all of them worked even with out a salary. You can not treat them like this" Asks Jaya to leave. Aarthi looks around and sees that all the employees eye her with disdain. Saguni sees all this and goes to the MD's cabin - " look how Thols got his way!!! You should have put your foot down." Aarthi is thoughtful.

Aarthi comes home tired - Kala brings coffee and probes. Aarthi says that Kala was right about Thols - " he does have a close relationship with all women in the office". - Kala is happy to hear Aarthi accepting her views about men -" see, Thols had Shanthi at home and said that she was his wife's friend and he was just giving asylum to her. How can any one believe that they had a pure friendship?? Men never accept that they have a wrong relationship with a woman even if they do have one. We, women have to be careful" - Aarthi endorses all of Kala's
views and says that she will deal with Thols differently. Mano comes there and Aarthi shouts at him for some thing. Anu gets all worked up and shouts at Aarthi. A verbal war ensues and fortunately Rajesh shows up. He waves the white flag and sends every one in. Kala is happy to see the whole drama....
