What exactly is stopping Akshara from accepting Abhi?

Wracking my brains and I can’t figure this out anymore.

First it was because of Aroo ki khushiyan but then she told Arohi she was not doing this for her, she was doing this because the two families cannot get along.

But now even that is inevitable - so why not just clear the air, confess all to Abhi and just save everyone a lot of misery and confusion? So Arohi will throw a few tantrums - let Dadi, Manish etc handle her nakhra like the pros they are at quashing the discontentment of their female kids…

Daddy Birla can now proudly print banner size images of his bahu literally saving his beta’s life - what great PR!

Manjari maata is getting head of music therapy at Birla hospital for bahu, not some bechari housewife type

Mahima is getting…I actually have no idea what her big scheme is except not bringing Arohi as Birla bahu

As for JIJAJI, he will no longer be accused of buri nazar on Saali and can legitimately graduate from PG13 daydreams to R-rated realities 😆

I think the real problem is Akshu is a sadist and wants everyone to be miserable - secretly she twirls her mustache and laughs maniacally at all the chaos she’s creating…

@bold- These lines cracked me up. For our sake and Jijaji's sake please confess Akhsu. We too are tired of PG13 dreams all the time.

Because the writers have forbidden her to do so.

We would not have been able to aee, emotional, angry, obsessive, protective, sturbborn, hurt Abhimanyu Birla.

Birlas DONT hate - Mahima and Manjari both like her, Anand seems neutral (he’s mostly wallpaper 90% of time anyway!) and only Papa Birla is upset with her because he thinks she’s hurting Abhi. This relationship is parallel to initial Manish/Naira who used to “woh ladki” Naira whenever he thought she was hurting Kartik (who also had massive daddy issues) and was all “meri beti” when it benefited him. I think Papa Birla would come around very easily especially when he sees that Abhi will never stand for his interference if Akshu confesses.

Akshara’s reluctance is a bad plot device to keep the confusion and cheap thrills churning…
