First time when I watched I watched it with bated breath because I wanted to make sure that SRK won’t run away without paying that little kid his money, emotion ka bahana karke. Woh toh thank God for that fellow passenger, otherwise irada toh wahi tha. 😂

I'd say the most impactful scene of the movie (the other being "bijli").

I've traveled across India in trains a lot. And this scene was an embodiment of the many moments when we're reminded of our privileged asses.

This film was a masterpiece and should have been a hit at the box office.

This movie ❤️ Superlative in every sense. Makes me feel proud of Indian cinema.

I still remember.. I was in 7th or 8th Std.. and many girls in my class practicing dancing on Yeh Tara.. for school skit / concert..

So many years have passed but I still vividly remember the songs of this movie..

dont know how during peak of srk a film like swades got flop , during 2004 he had 2 biggest hits like veer zara and main hoon na ,,,,swades flop and then next year in 2005 paheli got flop and then next year kabhi alvida na kehna got flopped ...and it all during peak of srk popularity and a useless film like rabne bana di jodi got hit
