I agree with this. They have discontinued the Ishti Kutum story. This is now Gul's version of Imlie where she is playing to her strengths. So, I don't think the union of Aditya and Imlie is happening anytime soon. For that to happen also, there needs to be some change and growth in both characters.

I know I ship AryLie, but what I can perceive is that they are not getting the TRP traction by continuously skirting around the Malini-Aditya-Imlie triangle. Aryan is the carrot to create a disruption in the rut they have created. So they are hanging Aryan, Imlie, Aditya, Malini for all the fandoms. For those who discontinued watching or did not watch before, Gul has managed to get their attention back now.

So lets see what happens.

Sautan drama which makers might have planned for long run with didi didn't work much and didn't bring them the expected Trp and hence Aryan character bought into the show at the right time I would say as ppl got irritated and many of them were trying to stop watching the nonsense which makers have made out of the story by that time.

Gul though took the risk but it seemed to be worked by seeing the public response and stable/rising TRP.

@bold : agreed. Now Makers seems to have taken a long track. So no early reunion of Adilie.

If Adi and Malini baby is real - it keeps Malini in the picture but it also dilutes Adilie big time and given Adi's given makers show absolute priority of baby and Malini over Imlie, Adilie will not have any value anymore.

It will mean Imlie will always come second to Malini. Will makers take that route?

If Malini truth comes out - then that gives the scope for Adi regret redemption and a Adilie get over their past and fall in love again freshness. And why not until that time - explore the new pairing of Arylie that gets enough acceptance.

Somehow Adini remarriage for me is crossing a line and I hope for drama makers don't take it to that. They can also have a parallel - just like Imlie got Malini married to Adi last time...this time Imlie can bring Malini truth before and stop marriage and then walk away herself.

Makers are taking story based on viewer response is what I feel :)

As I said they are all carrots to satisfy both audiences. This is no longer a triangle. It's a square. These 4 will stay. They will not shift the premise to Aditya-Imlie-Aryan triangle also. The PF may not really help as they will be keeping Malini. Now how they skirt the story around these 4 is what we have to wait and watch.

Ppak coming to Malini baby I somehow feel makers may show Malini having miscarriage / getting aborted (could be real/fake) and sulking in pain again where Adi would be seen caring for Malini again for their bacha loss. Didi is there for drama . Hence got this thought 😊

Aryan is the route that will push Imlie to succeed in life. And no one dedicates so much of signs and symbols to a supposed track in the show. These signs and symbols are reserved for leads always. So how and why they have taken such a bold step for a new entry is surprising for me. Why show such situations for Aryan and Imlie, which ideally should have been shown for Aditya and Imlie. I am curious here. Hope I get answers

Coming to all 4 characters - if you ask me Fahman, Sumbul and Gashmeer have a strong screen presence. They can hold my attention. Even Aditya, for all his lame antics. Had Gashmeer not been playing Aditya, I don't think any person would look at that character at all. Mayuri lacks screen presence as Malini and she cannot manage to hold my attention, no offense to anyone, it's my opinion. I would take Aryan any day over Malini. All four characters are here to stay. Now let's see how they use this playing field to push the story forward.

Trp was always consistent between. 2.5 - 2.8. Aryan entry week it was 2.6 that too with AdiLie break up. next week 2. 7 had quality AdiLie. 2.7 stable for two week. Then they played promo That was Adi giving divorce. Whole promo is Adi. Then trp increased. So even still now x factor of Imlie is AdiLie Malini angle. Mostly every promo is on Adi. Then why will the dare to break AdILie connection.

ArLie friendship happened in jet speed . Testing with Aryan I think its already over . Aryan did not gave Anuj impact . That happened in udariyan also. They too changed the story line. imlie is not an Anupama .
