Psychological penalty i can understand but please tell how was it a financial penalty. Are those men charged a certain amount of money before they can remarry the divorced wife or you are talking about any other financial penalties? Also when the onus of giving triple talak in anger or whatever reason lies on the man then why does the woman have to make physical relation (even if she doesn't want) with another man? Why should she suffer the burden of her husband's mistake? Had she been given a choice to undergo that halala (physical relations with another man) or not? Don't you think that choice of undergoing halala or not should have been given to the woman? Then how come that tradition is not inherently misogynist if it forces woman, without giving her any choice, to sleep with another man before she can remarry her divorced husband. Also what rights does she have in dissolution of nikah halala if the one doing halala refuses to give her talaq so she can marry her previous? Where does the woman have a say in this?
