Of course, because Sallu Bhai is technically the bachelor whereas Ranbir is seen as practically engaged to Aalu baby. The irony is that I don't think Salman cares or has had any skin in the game where his exes are concerned. He likes his life footloose and free and there's nothing wrong with that. He's also friendly with Kat and seems to wish her well.

How Ranbir is feeling is anyone's guesses. Probably not too thrilled.

Soha’s wedding was interesting too. Of course Kat became famous as salman’s gf but now because of hit movies sallu recommended to have her star in she became a star herself. Even though she has frozen face can’t act, her voice is not good, dialogue delivery not good, not even a great dancer but she looks good and that’s all that matters in show business. Of course Vicky is famous too whether you guys like it or not

Hardly it was some big craze. The bit of hype it had was due to Sonam being Anil Kapoor's daughter.

Kind of similar to hype for Rajinikanth's daughter's weddings. The superstar father is reason for interest. Remove the star dad and then see if there is any hype or not.

Katrina is one of the biggest female superstars out there and has been modern day dream girl, fantasy of billions since mid 2000s.

Just because her recent releases were not as popular as releases till 2014-15 it does not mean she is a spent force.

Just a few years ago Kat was in almost every ad.

She still ranks high in popularity lists as a star and a brand.

It is solely due to her that wedding has such hype and its streaming rights have been sold to Amazon Prime for Rs 80 crores.

Who'd pay that whopping amount for only Vicky and a has been starlet?

How will you remove the star dad? Is that possible? Why not remove the superstar behind Katrina? Salman. What if he wasn't there with her at all? What interest would anybody have in her? Who can say that? We don't know what would've happened. This is all hypothetical. The point is Sonam's wedding was a grand affair. And right on this forum there was a thread which crossed 400 pages. There was much much more interest in that wedding than this.

It was so much fun. So much discussion on practically every aspect of the wedding. And so many videos from so many people who attended. It was really awesome.
