Oh please. Katrina has long stepped out of Salman's shadow and has made mark for herself as a superstar with number of hits. She has been topping all those popularity lists, hottest and sexiest lists for a decade now.

It is amusing and erroneous if someone says remove Salman and there is no hype for Kat. Katrina has given hits with other stars too including with even a flop guy like Imran Khan.

Katrina wedding is still trending on social media. Sonam thread was maybe big here but she had hardly any fan following or hype because she is a flop actress and her husband is a businessman but not a celeb. She had hype only due to whole industry attending her wedding due to her father and uncle, famous family and because she never kept it under wraps the way Katrina and Vicky did. She rather posted every pic from all ceremonies and gatherings they had and made up her own hashtag for her wedding social media posts.

Unlike VicKat who kept their ceremonies private.

Katrina and Vicky can trend even more if they hold a big reception in Mumbai or Delhi and invite entire industry and politicians.

Salman has long ceased to be Katrina's BF. Katrina has given hits and become a dream girl for billions on her own.

If Salman alone could make superstars then his other GFs like Somy Ali (who got films opposite top stars only due to Salman in 90s) would be a superstar also. None of his other GFs became as huge as Katrina. We will see if he manages to make his brother in law a star or his new interest like Iulia Wantur a star. Let alone superstar.

Anyday a star kid with family of producers like Surendra Kapoor, Boney Kapoor, stars like Anil Kapoor and Sridevi has way more clout than an outsider like Katrina Kaif.

A famous BF alone cannot make an actor last for over a decade or make it as a top star. Katrina gave successes and remained a successful brand even after break up with Salman.

She has stayed on as masses like her. She has universal popularity among men, women and kids alike. She has not remained in industry solely due to her famous dad, uncle, aunt and legacy of her famous producer grandfather the way Sonam did.

People cared about her wedding because she is kind of "white" so it's more unique. She is a shit actress and her roles are mostly a joke (although she has some great item songs I guess) lol
