Exactly. So someone needn't be a superstar to have their wedding hyped. That was my point. There could be various reasons.

All that is hypothetical. Maybe all this hush hush nonsense is creating this excitement. Maybe if she just got married in a normal ceremony, people wouldn't care less. Who knows what would happen if this or that. Sonam has some sort of goodwill. And the wedding showed that.

The point I was making was that Sonam is an industry insider and comes from serious family clout which she has parlayed into her fashionista image. She was not exactly small potatoes, hence all the attention.

When you compare Kat and Sonam's wedding to someone like Patralekha-RKR and Yami's weddings which went by with very little interest, it should offer some perspective on the kind of hoopla a high profile person getting married creates,

There was much much more interest in that wedding than this.

The interest is genuinely low. There's like 2 articles against 1 tweets. This is tragic. Even in those tweets people are mostly trolling her or tweets related to Salman and Ranbir.

sure when your papa..taya..chacha..chachi..brother..sister..cousins and every tom dick and harry is in BW..you would be embarrassingly poor to not create a goodwill..that was by default..tom if suhana khan gets married, you think it would be her goodwill to get the attention she would get on her bigday? ridiculous claims!

Those weddings were not publicised by the concerned people. They just happened in a very private way. This wedding got the details leaked to the media. And anyway obviously there is no comparison between Yami and RK and Kat and Vicky. But that doesn't automatically mean that just because this wedding is being talked about, which is for various reasons, from Salman to the secrecy, that this proves her superstardom. That is just unreasonable. That's my point.

Exactly! Who is leaking all this information? And they don't even have the courtesy to formally announce their wedding. Just posted some pics later because Sabyasachi would've done it anyway. Come on. It's obviously so planned and reeks of PR.

Okay so that way there were other starkids who got married. Like there was Varun Dhawan, was his wedding also as talked about? There was Soha. I mean it's not just that she's from a film family. Sonam is a well known celebrity. And then it's that her wedding was really awesome. The way everybody was invited and nothing was kept secret. No stupid games like this, don't bring your phone etc. So everybody joined in the fun and it was amazing. The type of wedding also matters, and she had a great one. Aise hi 400 pages nahi pohoch jata kisi ka.
