Jasmine and her pronunciation

Hello everyone!

I have been following Udaariyaan for a very long time now and have been a silent member here as well. Over the couple of days, what is getting to me are Jasmine's (Isha) pronunciations. Orchid, Bargaining, Banquet Hall (this almost always sounds like Blanket hall). Is it just me or have you been noticing too? Or are there different ways of pronouncing all these words that we are unaware of? Or is it because of her character?

I thought the orchid thing was a mistake but then she repeated it 🤪

If it is for the character then it is weird because Jasmine is a college going student. If it is Isha herself it is still weird because Ankit pronounced it right the entire time and she should have corrected herself. At this point I couldn't care less 😆

I’m pretty sure she does it on purpose for the character lol just the other day she said “Convance” instead of Convince and it was hilarious

my mom and I were laughing at her orchid line the other day 😂 but I think she does it as part of Jasmine’s character, showing she’s not very well educated. (Btw she stopped going to college completely)

Jasmine does this since the beginning. There has been many instances before too.

I dont know if Isha does it knowingly for the characterisation or it was in the script .

Her " Kaneda" and not "Canada" has been der all along. Fateh and Tejo both say " Canada" but she still says " Kaneda". Der has been many more too.

Jake bhi kya fayda.. just waste of money. 😆 All she does is plotting against her own sister or finding ways to go to Canada or rather Kanneda. This way at least Fateh's money will be spared (assuming he will be the one to pay her fees).

Actually it was shown from the start that Jasmine isn't good with english. She pronounce party as palty😆, walkman (headphone)as walak-man, programme as Pirograme😆 and many more, so it was done purposely to show jasmine character .
