The reunion can wait!

Ritu, saw the episode, wrote the LU, have been ranting here and there but Shiva's attitude and his barrage of insults on Raavi really made me speechless. I am still trying to understand how could they write such ghatiya dialogues for Suman and Shiva again and again.

After watching today and reading artilces on how Raavi will be the one to stop the engagement, I do not see anyway Shiva or Suman will go through redemption. They both will be left off the hook and makers will jump into starting Shiva-Raavi love story.

As I finished typing this reply, left out a huge sigh!

I'd rather they still hated each other... Also petty but I'm so glad she called his character out (gira hua insaan)... A brilliant and apt parallel for when he questioned her outside the mandir..

Yeah. They are not justified in giving him lines that hurt Raavi more. They show he is bound by his ‘kasam’. But kasam doesn’t mean he has to be mean to Raavi, accusing her of fake tears. There was no need for saying all this… If this is the way he means to goad her into breaking the engagement

I hope those articles are proved wrong and she stands strong with her decision to not say a word, nor call off the engagement even though he challenged her.

Also i started writing something last night which is eerily simar to this... 😂😂😂 I think I'm starting to think like the writers 😢😢

Just finished watching it. The episode is not going to be the good feel types. It’s a feeling very very bad for Raavi wala episode. Both are not given a chance to speak by Suman and she is particularly verbally abusive to Raavi - asking her to leave etc. these scenes are hard to watch. She also threatens to jump in the well if the engagement doesnot take place

But after watching - I understand they are trying to show that Shiva is bound by ‘kasam’ to his mother . And he says “Ye Maa be sahi nahi kiya- mujhe wo kasam de nahi baandha tha’. Later they do show that he is frustrated by the engagement and he crunches up the sherwani/ kurta and says I am bound by the stupid kasam🙄 and Chipkali is not opening her mouth either. So I guess idea is just like in the dream he wants Raavi to stop the engagement

@bold- agreed. To add to that, he also says something about niyat nahi ho rahi hai. I understood that to mean that despite everything, he doesn't want to engaged either.

Also, if I watch today's episode forgetting the sbs segment where divorce was cancelled, technically, there's no problem in him going ahead with the engagement. Yes, his silence is problematic but Raavi calling him gira hua is also problematic based on what we're shown in the episodes so far.

So I'm treating this as one of their old fights where both blindly lash out at each other.

Min, she has the decency to call him in private but he called her characterless in public where 100s were watching. She has asked him for an answer multiple times now as to why he called her that, there is absolutely no answer from him. The makers don't want to give any. I am appalled at the lot of loopholes in this show and the writing and top of it they gave a dialogue to Shiva " meine kya kiya" really? He did nothing, it is all Raavi's fault. His own family doesn't believe him, except him and his mother everybody else thinks Shiva is wrong infact more than what Raavi did and they are giving him dialogues like " what did I do"😡

Very true. I think its also more so because he has been such a righteous and strong character that to see him this way is very disappointing

Is this Shiva's love for Raavi?

Its an insult to the word love if this is called love

In all this you know who has been the loser, Raavi. The makers have defeated her in all possible ways.

Everything is on her and every mess has to be cleared by her, every tough emotion has to be experienced by her and every accusation, insult, abuse, humiliation, name calling has to be faced by her.

I don't want her to do anything either but Raavi's character is never given importance in this show. She will be made to look like a fool to stop the engagement and scrambling to save her marriage.
