I meant that it's unlikely that there's going to be any follow up to it...at least not until they want to start Suman's redemption/acceptance or get her to flip. Since that's unlikely right now, whatever symbolism they intended will be forgotten.

Just finished watching it. The episode is not going to be the good feel types. It’s a feeling very very bad for Raavi wala episode. Both are not given a chance to speak by Suman and she is particularly verbally abusive to Raavi - asking her to leave etc. these scenes are hard to watch. She also threatens to jump in the well if the engagement doesnot take place

But after watching - I understand they are trying to show that Shiva is bound by ‘kasam’ to his mother . And he says “Ye Maa be sahi nahi kiya- mujhe wo kasam de nahi baandha tha’. Later they do show that he is frustrated by the engagement and he crunches up the sherwani/ kurta and says I am bound by the stupid kasam🙄 and Chipkali is not opening her mouth either. So I guess idea is just like in the dream he wants Raavi to stop the engagement

Yes agree we are not going to get a scene refereing back to it . I guess that’s just meant to pacify ShiVi fans that no other bride can replace Raavi 😬

Imo, Suman ka emotional atyaachaar was partly for drama, and partly to setup the Shivi ka ego challenge 🤪 Its a red herring until we get some other bts
