You should start watching Pakistani and Bollywood b-grade movies, best horror movies ever 😆

Who made it a rule that you should only watch movies/dramas or listen to music from your own culture and language? Nobody. Not a single law against it. Music is universal. You don’t have to understand the lyrics to enjoy it. I listen to lots of songs from different languages and have no idea what’s being said, but I like the sound of it and that’s enough for me.

There are lots of Non-Indians who are obsessed with Bollywood movies/songs despite not knowing the language or being a part of the culture. Are you going to tell them to stick to their own language or culture? Shouldn’t they get to enjoy and experience the beauty of Indian culture and cinema like everyone else?

We have become a lot more looks conscious now. Earlier it was just the ladies who were put under pressure to look good. Now it's the gents too. Just look at celebs from the 90s (even the ladies, even the good looking ones, weren't so dolled up). We had the likes of Kajol becoming top actresses with those unibrows and terrible styling. Now even she has groomed herself well to get ahead with time. So many people (including men) going under the knife to get sharp nose, pouty lips, sharp features.

Personally, I am pretty shallow and looks oriented as a person, so I do not mind. ;)

P.S. What's up with the 'vote up' option (instead of reactions) accompanying every post?

@ Finger ferish: Can you recommend me some horror films??? I am more into psychological horror than supernatural ones FYI. I loved Get out, Spit, 10 cloverfield lane, Ring etc.

I have met actual Koreans who dislike anything other than their own culture. They do not like people from other country. Anything outside their familarity is not welcomed.

Once you live in Korea you will face real racism. It's not all sugar and spice like k-pop and kdrama.

Still not making sense darl. I have also met actual Koreans (lots of them) and not only found them extremely warm but also friendly. There will always be some black sheep amongst the rest, but that doesn't mean you should generalise a population of 51 million people. Racism is universal and found in all our backyards, not just prevalent in South Korea.

But for the sake of argument, lets just say that they aren't all sugar and spice, then what's the difference between them and your comment? You were judging people for being obsessed with K-Dramas and K-Pop because they don't understand the language or belong to the culture but in the same breath you're also accusing Koreans for doing the same thing! 😳

I watched this old video of some "fans" booing Katrina in the public. It's ridiculous how entitled the audience has become.

I am against worshiping of BW celebs, but this is not justified at all.

Besides, Social Media has allowed everyone to have an opinion on everything.

and we're currently living in a time where issues like "Air pollution" have become a 'political' topicsmiley26, to Bollywood to fir bhi choti cheej hai.

I do agree fans are entitled and rude now. Someone tried to touch Sara Ali Khan inappropriately while taking selfie with her last year or so and Sara rightfully pushed him away. Her video went viral and people began to call her entitled or 'proud', asking why she has problem in being touched, if hero can touch her then why can't random men?

It was disgusting how they justify crossing all limits and take stars as public property.

I have no issues when Jaya Bachchan gets angry with media or unruly crowds. The way they shout or call names or pounce at stars I feel they deserve to be told off.

I agree we have regressed as audience and cheaper internet, social media have given anyone the right to harass, abuse, mock, judge anyone.

What? Hema looked much younger than him and still does. This is outrageous. It's just stupid people with access to the internet...nothing more nothing less

This reminds me of that Ranu Mondal incident where she told a stranger off for tapping her on the shoulder from behind . A lot of people thought she was being uppity .
