Do follow big matches/series at least.. They are fun to watch
🤣
I just watch highlights at times these days. TBH, I didn't watch a single ball of 2011 WC finals either, there was an overdose of India v SL matches around this time - we used to play like every 3-4 months, same hppd with overdose of India v Pak around 2003/4-2006/7. I still haven't watched it - that was the only match in 2011 WC that I skipped 😆
Rarely I watch test matches - not the complete match but just a session or two, especially if the ball is doing something - as it makes for a gripping watch between bat & ball, instead of these T20's - where bowlers are tonked all around the park.

The name 'kiwi' comes from the curious little flightless bird that is unique to New Zealand.
Māori people have always held the kiwi bird in high regard. Their feathers were used to make 'kahu kiwi', valuable cloaks worn by tribal chiefs.
In the early 1900s, cartoonists started to use images of the kiwi bird to represent New Zealand as a country.
During the First World War, New Zealand soldiers were referred to as 'kiwis', and the nickname stuck.
Eventually, the term Kiwi was attributed to all New Zealanders, who proudly embraced the moniker. Just like the bird, New Zealanders are unique, adaptable and a little quirky.

oh sure, most of the non-Aus fans hate or dislike their past teams because of Aus players attitude on & off field. They had this "win at all costs" mentality, they would abuse players on-field, encourage their fans to troll not in a good way - when some team tours them, usually England were the one who suffered the most due to it & probably closely followed by South Africa.
One of the things people hate about Aus players prior to sandpaper incident is - they would abuse others but they won't accept it in kind - always supported their nature & when someone gives it back, make a hue & cry about it. This type of nonsense started during Steve Waugh captaincy era but it peaked in Ricky Ponting era, who was a bully - similar to Virat Kohli. If you had watched U19 WC in which VK took part, you would note - there's a segment - where players who their fav. player is & VK says its Ricky - VK followed RP's antics as well. In Michael Clarke & Steve Smith's captaincy era but reduced drastically compared to RK's tenure. Sandpaper incident mellowed down Aussies to a great extent now.
When India toured Aussies last, ie prior to this year's tour - our players were more verbal than Aussies, as Australian players lost support of their own countrymen after the sandpaper - they were accused as cheaters on top headlines in Aus.
you started watching from 2011 & I stopped regularly following since 2011, looks like my cricket waali bhatakti aatma went into you 🤣
maybe that is what happened 🤣
i didnt even know a sport called cricket existed before that 🤣
