Okay, so full disclosure, I think the current storyline is extremely absurd. Ram and Priya's actions don't make sense AT ALL and the scenarios are extremely unbelievable. My main aim is to not hate either Ram or Priya too much, cause I wanna watch this show.
Having said that, I'm almost equally annoyed with Ram and Priya rn. Before the shaadi cancellation track, I genuinely thought that Priya was being more unreasonable than Ram in the marriage (although I expected this, knowing how insecure she is).
But as soon as Nandini convinced Ram to cancel the shaadi, he got on my nerves. They were snatching Shivi's agency. At the end of the day, Shivi is a grown woman, not a 'bachchi', so they shouldn't infantalise her all the time. Even if her decisions are stupid, all that her family can do is advise her, they cannot forbid Shivi from marrying the guy of her choice. I didn't like the fact that Ram thought he, or anybody else had the right to make decisions for Shivi.
Secondly, this miscommunication domino effect had been initiated by Ram. It made ZERO sense to not tell Priya the real reason why he cancelled the shaadi, because he supposedly wanted her to not feel ashamed of her father. In spite of all the hiding, Priya still thought that Ram was breaking the shaadi because of her family background. So why Ram, what was the purpose of keeping this information from Priya then? I can understand Priya's frustration here, because it must've been extremely painful for her to deal with the fact that Ram cancelled the marriage for no reason. On top of this, the annullment issue. Ram didn't handle that well either, so we can't say that Priya's mistrust for Ram isn't reasonable.
I'm just trying to see where Priya is coming from, and to empathise with her a little. This is not to say that her making Shivi and Akshay run away was a good idea - it wasn't. A lot of people had already discussed how she is wrong, and I agree with them. This is just another perspective we could consider, so that we don't end up being too harsh towards either Priya or Ram
i was going to write on the same lines. Both Priya and Ram are at fault here.
What Priya did was wrong, not consulting with Ram and have Shivi- Akki get married without talking about Shivi's suicide threats. What Ram did was wrong too hiding the reasons for stopping the marriage. He blurted it all out at the marriage venue but does that make everything right? he might have proved Priya wrong there. What Priya did was based on her assumptions.
Akki, Shivina, Sara, Maitri are all silent. Atleast Akki and Shivi needs to speakup, Priya did all this for them.
I hope atleast the story line improves from here rather than absurd story lines
The domino effect or chain reaction based on miscommunication where two people who are supposed to be very vocal about their opinions is unbelievable!!

how could we expect her to tell him her plan
1. to the guy who is almost a stranger to her yes they are married but still getting no each other.
2. she knows he is agianst Shivi akki marriage, so telling him will ruin the thing. when he decided to cancel the marriage he just canceled it. according to her version. she does not know nanidini is playing
3. when she could see a guy without discussing with her about to sign an annulment paper, why should she take him in the confidence.
no one who is going to have a secret wedding would disclose to a person who is against wedding.
We as aviewers know what is ram's thought or reasoning. but not priya.
So I think she does not so naything wromg. for her akki's marriage is important not even her own. so she is focusing on her goal.

Who knows the suicide issue truth will come out tdy in the slapping drama

Ek shows and couples divorces go hand in hand and now annulment has also started. Is there any chances of annulment when the marriage has happened between two mentally stable, consenting adults? What's the basis of this annulment, anyways? That one of them was hoodwinked or cheated into marrying the other? Sounds illogical and Ram being withdrawn in this decision is even more illogical actually.
But the recent events with Shivina Akki wedding is actually a good twist. They're the reason PriRa came together, and due to them being families, some day they'll have to get together. As everyone else appreciated in various posts, Nakul really nailed the emotional scenes. He has grown leaps and bounds as an actor since his PKDH days.
Somehow, I'm unable to side with one of them in this misunderstanding, as both are right in their own places. Ram is too influenced by his step family, but he has every right to be mad at Priya for doing this wedding without his family's consent or presence. Totally justifiable anger.
Priya on the other hand, is pretty stubborn. She isn't someone who'd be influenced by others without putting her brains and effort. She's not emotionally influenced like Ram, who just craves his step family's love and acceptance, which isn't happening. She was set on making Akki and her mother happy when she agreed to marry Ram, and she understandably revolted when that very reason wasn't happening anymore. But she could have talked to Ram once and tried. She was wrong there to take a decision like marriage in her own hands without the concerned parties. But her actions are justified coz she did everything to ensure her cousin's happiness who's actually a very good guy and a good brother to her. ( Though I'm not sure how happy Akki Shivina are gonna be, going by Shivina's brought up and her selfish nature).
Priya signing annulment papers is a disappointment, but at least the prawns allergy incident is out in the open now. One misunderstanding down at least. Let's wait and watch how it goes.

Actually it is not about Priya including Ram in her plans, to be fair she had no right to exclude Ram, Nandini from Shivina's wedding. Thinking she knows best, though she has wed Ram and entered the family dynamics very recently only..
Yes, I agree with you, Ram is a stranger to Priya and she cannot tell him everything, but on the same pedestal Priya too is a stranger to Ram, yet Ram tore the prenup papers putting his trust in Priya, likewise she should have also placed a little trust in him. Maybe, just maybe for once given it a thought kii why is Ram saying no to Akki - Shivina's wedding, for which he married her in the 1st place.
Yeah, as you said Nandini is playing and Ram is taking the fall for Nandini's ploys, as Priya misunderstands him..
But whatever it is Nandini is Shivina's mother, and Ram is her elder brother and Priya deciding for Shivina was not a right move I feel.. Sabse pehle toh she should have told them about Shivina trying to harm herself.. They had the right to know.
And talking about Ram having the annulment papers in his possession, once again I say Priya should have maybe talked about it to Ram without judging him or turning defensive.. And she should have given him at least a little benefit of doubt, because Ram is the guy who placed his bharosa on her, and tore their prenuptial agreement, at least for this he deserved a chance and at least for this she should have given him the benefit of doubt...
