Very true, anything that has to be nurtured needs time. It cannot be rushed and if it is then the relation will not have any depth. Any relation to last has to have the much needed depth. Am super glad that they showed this here and they have built up somewhat a strong foundation already that its tough to shake it. Hence the curiosity as to how will she take this. As an afterthought the surprise element for her should be that its been 26 years and he has not uttered a word!! Rest should not be a full surprise for her as we hve also seen from her side a little cautiousness when he gives her anything and then pure happiness.
