What a twist! Spoiler warning

So this new development was unexpected... Purab pushed to the sidelines and new entry.. Armaan. And to finish the epi with the Bolly cliche of Goddess directed Maang barna.

In a way I am happy that Thapki was not publicly humiliated. Still what would this new twist bring about?

Going by the way the show follows cliche, Armaan might turn out to be a shady character.. A playboy? A cruel person illegal activities which is disguised as his 'trips to Amrica'. Or already married?

I would love it if the creatives surprise us by making him someone good... The person who changes Thapki's life for the better, (which wouldn't have happened in near future with Purab coz of Veenadevi's attitude). But yaar! I like Akaash Ahuja for Thapki... Yet going by the pics (unless it is Photoshoped) the new guy looks hot too 😉

Anyways I am being pulled into the show😊

They haven't shown his pic clearly, from the long shot she looked smart.

^^From what I can guess that either this character will be either nonexistent like to continue the plot, or if they indeed plan on bringing this character onboard then that will only be decided by the writers. I mean, I can't make much speculation since much news hasn't been broken, but since this isn't something new in the ITV business for bringing in unexpected characters/tracks/leaps then anything is possible.

I can just assume at this point that his name might be to propagate the track before any major twists occur as of now. But anything is possible so keeping zero expectations myself. 😆

Thanks for the pic. I did get it right the guy is dapper.But you are right that one cannot assume that what we might get, if we get as you mentioned, might not exactly be this one 😃.

Wonder why there was no actual impact for the Goddess blessing. For now it seems the hint was just for us viewers and not to bring about drama in the drama. Even the characters involved didn't seem to make any big deal out of it. May be there would be a follow up on the scene.... The spark of imagination in me thinks of the event photographer catching the scene in his camera.

Liked the subtle difference in Purab's reaction to proximity to the two women... He hug is awkward, holding his face away from the one he chose for himself.. While with his mothers choice he is comfortable being in her personal space.

A special mention on the dialogue about his time stopping around Thapki, though he said it in angry frustration the words were symbolically romantic 😉

I think

- this crossed relation is to keep thapki-purab around... and give them time to know each other ..

- at arman - thapki wedding....

- arman will run away / will not show up or already married - family will know at altar

- veena will ask purab to marry thapki to keep her in house

(by that time they are knowing each other very well - foe turned friends, developed likings at least)

- hansika will turn in full fledged vamp

Going by the few pics in FB the alliance progress upto marriage without any serious interruptions. So chances are Thapki-Armaan alliance will break. For Veena Devi to accept her as her Bahu, Thapki's stammering must not come to open until then. I know, I know ITV hei, keep aside the logic.

Purab keeps getting calls to interrupt him from finding out Thapki is Armaan's intended. 😄

Seems no one has even bothered to ask about Thapki's absentee father!

Armaan is a side character!! Veena is going to break Hansika & Purab’s wedding. That’s why we’ll see all the rituals.

Mami & Co will prevent Thapki from talking much in front of Veena. I think it’s all going to come out post wedding!!

Purab-Thapki look fabulous together. I loved Season 1 and I can see loving S2 as well.

With the hints presented by the Goddess it does seem Thakpi and Purab might be the end 'the Jodi'. Guess will have to wait and watch how long it will take them to reach the goal.

Would VD (Veenadevi) prefer a stuttering bahut to an arrogant bahu remains to be seen. For now there seems to be no attraction between the pairs... They seem plain irritated with each other, especially Purab who is understanding and considerate with mostly everyone else, except for his time love.

The confusion of Thapki's truth not coming out is more drama than logical, but anyways the one who really has to know does know. He is distracted by the varient phone calls to really pay attention and he has mistaken the bride.

The rainy night though was good, seemed forced upon the couple, just for the sake of mehndi. Even rushed coz ....no hint is even given as to how she ended up under her palak, when she was supposed to sleep at VD's mansion. The intended groom just dumps her in his bachelor cousin's room!!!

I loved the way Purab took care of the tipsy thapki, still it lost it's impact coz Thapki totally forgot that ( kind of DD's holi scene) and Purab is back to being irritated and angry with her the next day!!

Anyways saw a promo description in ytube that Purab finally gets to know Thapki is the bride seeing her all dressed up in bridal attire (at the mandir) and decides to disclose her truth to all.

I didn't watch S1, did check out a couple of episodes found the 'then' presented jodi interesting and thought of reading the plot... And kaboom!! The story was so typical ITV ...dismantled the presented jodi, saas bahu and vamp drama,dragged to leaps, look alikes, makeovers...

I don't think I will have the patience to watch something similar in S2. So I am already anticipating a pack up!

Oh yeah, Indu. It’s typical ITV. No doubt about it. I too will watch as long as it’s entertaining. If it gets too boring or weird I’ll quit. For now it’s most definitely entertaining.
