It's just we are making it non-stuffed always, so wahi banta hai regularly...

My dadi used to make stuffed kerala when she was alive.

Missed those days.

Wash it . Then cut in the ctr a little. Removing its inside. Leaving the whole kerala empty. The inside wala jo nikala hain. Put tadka . The tadka stuffed again into kerala. Tie around with a string so it wont come out when deep fried later.

These are stuffed keralas. Lots of effort but tasty.

The easy way is just cut it into tiny pieces and fry. Then put lots of onion in tadka .

But i still prefer the stuff ones

Grandma style wala. Not only mine but my friends grandmas does the same

Unka style.

Even they missed their grannies now for their stuffed keralas

When I was in UK, my punjabi friend used to make this for me. He was an excellent cook. This subji used to be one of my favs
