Anuj's character seems to have matured leaps and bounds with time. (As in from previous dialogues ki maar peeth karta tha to this peaceful type now)

He raised his voice only where he thought was needed. Even while Baa kept insulting he disregarded (as in not react because he knows this woman is all filth drama ) and he waited around only because he wanted to protect Anu knowing they will all eat her up....If matters got worse he'd finally step in sab kuch bhul ke.

Observe his finer expressions (which Gaurav nails it 😍 ) at :

1) when Baa lashes out at Devika. But he did not speak uo coz he knows Devika is capable. But it hurt him when baa taunted her abt Divorce.

2) When despite all the shit baa gave to Anuj, Anu is standing like a dumb doll (there is a moment when he finally gives up on Anu ki kuch nai bolegi and says jai shri krishna to leave... again leaving just to save her from the extra drama that would follow. I feel usko baa ki baat ka koi asar nai padta...she keeps blabbering usko pata hai...faltu it is.)

3) the confused shock - when Anu says Anuj kahi nai jayenge.

4) the slight smile when she says aaj mein bolungi. That smile was like finally she does whats needed.

He wanted her to defend herself (not for him u know as such) kyunki wo uske liye Anuj nai kar sakta coz no haq...but definitely for herself. He doesnt like her being ill treated but cannot do anything abt it either. So he keeps pushing her to learn to defend herself for her self respect.

Being hero is not just saving damsel in distress but making your woman a hero too.

Ps : Anupama ji kya aapko Anuj chahiye warna yaha bahut hai jo Anuj ko utha kar le jayenge 😆

Exactly there was nothing to be sexualized in it it was normal reaction by anyone if his/her loved one would be insulted with nasty comments.

I clearly think there is some big mu going on here. Simply because adjectives hot and sexy were used to describe anuj when he was angry, doesn't mean he was sexualized. Since it is wrong to compliment him for his voice and expressions when he was angry, it will be equally sexualizing to call him smart, handsome etc. too even when he is all that. If his voice was deep in that moment of anger- it was! What to do it was sexy! If his aura was dangerously alluring in that moment, it was! He was hot then!

"You look so cute when you are angry"- Sexualized because what is so cute about being angry.

Going by this, sexy, hot and the sIaid adjectives should no longer be linked with people you like.

I honestly can't wait for tomorrow and his expressions while seeing his lady love taking his stand for him

I will say just one line, aaj jiss tarah Baa udd udd ke sitar bajane ki dhamki de rahi thi, kal unka virtual sitaar bajega by Anu.

And aaj to one word me Anuj ne baja hi diya.

Isse mujhe ek baat yaad aayi Anu ki Mumbai wali flight me. She said na aapki to ek nazar hi kaphi hai, so yaha uska ek word hi kahi hai. Even Vanraaj at that time did not had that guts to say a single word, bz he also know ki isse panga nahi lena hai as warned by Kavya.

Quite true but for me its like he always lets the beizzati done by Shah circus go and they continue do the same nautanki. It was kind of refreshing to see him raise his voice against the Baa who has been speaking ill of him from the start. The one who Anupama considers next to god like even more than her own mother.

Frustrations of viewers for a woman like Anupama who keeps justifying Baa circus and for once a good ML🥱😳
