Hi,

The COVID news recently are so stressing. I'm tired of hearing about lockdowns, restrictions, increasing cases and new discovered variants. This is making me mentally drained. I even read a research saying women with children are more likely to report symptoms of anxiety and/or depressive disorder than men with children (49% vs. 40%). So, to avoid this anxiety, I spend my time watching movies however shows in Netflix are focused on end of time, zombies and diseases. Oh my! What's happening in the world! I need suggestions or recommendations on how to handle this anxiety =(

Watch Korean dramas to avoid other stressful shows. In times like this, being eaten by your fear must be your last option. As Charles Darwin says, survival of the fittest.

I'm trying my best to recover but, each day the worries gets bigger and bigger. My long distance relative just died after getting his jab on J&J. I'm surrounded of fear for myself, parents and friends.

Just for an update, I'm now feeling quite okay but, having panic attacks sometimes. However, I have a co-worker who got her vaccine on the first week of August and up to now still not okay and I'm so worried. She will be having her doctor's appointment this Monday for further check up. Have anyone of you experience this?
