And now coming to the often asked question - what does BJP have against SRK? Not much. He has often rubbed them the wrong way for sure in the past - Siding with Mamata Di, My Name is Khan, Intolerance comment, getting Pakistani players for his IPL team when most of the other franchises were wary of it (especially Shoaib Akhtar). And still, he is too small a fish to fry for an organisation as massive as BJP. It's not like he has any incredible goodwill left (mainly because of the shitty movies he has done and the occasional smart comments he has made) that he will be able to influence a large section of the population anymore.

I think people here are confusing BJP-against-SRK with BJP-IT-Cell-against-SRK. The second one is an unspoken truth. IT cell has time and again targeted him, very very frequently. All this fake news about him doing the non-existent Tipu movie, donating crores to Pakistan covid fund instead of to India's fight against covid, etc. keeps on cropping up from their bots because it is a planned effort to discredit the more influential anti-establishment personalities in the country today (unless they fall in line).

And yes, BJP IT cell is part of BJP. But it has become a monster of its own, almost out of control of its master. They end up trolling and pulling down their own members at times, if they put a foot out of line - for eg. Subramaniam Swamy. Some of the daily trends at times end up hurting BJP's moderate followers as well, because they have started catering to hardcore bhakts in the last 2-3 years.

The whole idea of BJP setting up Aaryan is absolutely ridiculous IMO. There is no head and tail to this tale (cannot even call it a theory, because that is supposed to at least have some remote link to facts)

These high society spoilt brats are known for indulging in smoking, drinking, and drugs. So Aryan getting caught is hardly anything surprising. To the people saying this was planted and he was trapped to change the news headlines, I have to say that you are really really fetching here.

Will our pathetic news media run the Aryan story at full throttle to control the narrative for those in power and divert from real issues - absolutely they will. They just got 1 week's worth of headlines and debates and special analysis content. They are loving it. I bet SSR, IPL and a few other related things will also get pulled into the mix eventually.

It’s not easy to ignore some points brought out by @hearmeroar especially. It makes sense to me.

Not saying Aryan is doodh ka dhula hua, but he may have been at the wrong place at the wrong time. There’s also likelihood they smoke weed etc casually which is common among youngsters but I doubt he does any hardcore stuff when his test was negative - may be his friends do it or someone from the group does it. I’m hoping he will take this seriously and not do these kind of things casually.

Youngsters do take gateway drugs & underage drinking casually these days.

Which is understandable...the Current government abused of peoples' hope(s) and support in an unbelievable dishonest way. Nevertheless, not all of BJP are dishonnest, corrupt,only chasing money and intolerant...and not all of the opposition will guarantee an India that embodies secularism and wisdom.

I was shocked to see people commenting to give him an Oscar when Modi cried during his speech amid covid crisis. This really has hit people very badly, there isn’t anyone who doesn’t know someone who has lost their life. It was terrible.

What what makes BJP Stand out is they are doing things in an extremely planned way.. they seem to have done years of work to do what they are doing..

The covid just took them by surprise.

THAT exactly is something you can't do (and should not make a living goal)... self confidence and a feeling for your own independence is what counts and I feel that SRK and Gauri just tried to instill it into their kids. They never hid that they would spoil their kids with THINGS but I'm almost sure they gave them an education that goes beyond self-fulfilling and narcissistic behaviour.

Can't count (and don't want to) how many times THIS interview was cited for accusing SRK...

However, I agree, that SRK's humour/sarcasm/nastiness give - more than once - fodder to those who dislike him. He surely can live with it (although Gauri and the kids sometimes really are p***ed off).
