You can go to live law on Twitter and look for the entire court proceedings if you want authentic news. As per NCB they didn’t find any illicit substance on Aryan, he was invited and they want to nab the organiser.. they want his custody till 7 oct for investigating why he was invited 😆

It is a sad state of affairs when a young man caught partying with drugs grabs the attention of the entire nation. Young kids make irresponsible choices. As it is against the law, of course, those involved should get face consequences. But I think people need to stop acting like Pablo Escobar has been arrested. It's not even a serious felony. There are far more pressing needs in the world to focus on.

People need to stop pretending that only celebrities or rich people do drugs. Many people experiment with recreational and party drugs as they grow up. I bet you there are tons of respectable responsible folks out there who did drugs or still do.

Addiction and drug abuse are separate issues. They stem from mental health issues, social/emotional/economic distress, and other behavioral factors. Not all drug dealers are addicts. And people in distress without access will find other addictions gambling, sex, self-harm, and more.

That is why I strongly advocate legalizing marijuana and psychedelics, and decriminalizing hard drugs. Put the infrastructure towards mental health and other social resources to actually address addiction and abuse rather than bust harmless parties.

Clutching pearls and treating drug users with contempt has not done society any good for decades. It's not the moral high ground people think it is.
