What I still dont get is without the love story kicking off how could they show clash of ideologies?

Season 2 has so much to cover at this point that it would take a retelling to do justice to all the gaps and loose ends.

I wonder why nobody asked about the original storyline before the lockdown happened in an IV . They must’ve shot a few parts of the next episodes. I’ve always wanted to know what we could’ve got: college fest , dinner date, mutual confession? I need answers!! 😁

While even i blame shaan, but i think he has always been the man who is unable to stand strong. He is righteous in some ways, honest and really loyal but maybe not brave? I think its his nature to be this way. Maybe aastha complimented that? I realised while reading this that if you notice, shaan is also only his true self with aastha. Its to her he freely voices his thoughts/actual anger/ actual emotions. So much so as what he could never explain to shaurya he explains to aastha.

Shaurya has never seen LOVE. He has seen it destroy his father and hence the aversion :P but yes..he will love and love exactly like his father. Limitless.

Shaurya is exactly that manipulated 4 yo boy! He wants his mother to come back and apologize. He wants her to feel the same pain that he felt and hence he hurts her and pulls these tantrums. He wants love, affection and attention like a child. No wonder he was extremely jealous when it came to anokhi.

Even though she made her own mistakes..that woman still remembered the man who did nothing for her and the son who hates her when she was dying. Love!!

You're so right about Shaan. For the Sabherwals he was the brother who towed the line. Only with Aastha could he open his heart. We saw that in Shaurya as well. He played the good son for the family and could only speak his heart to Anokhi. That's why even when he yelled at Anokhi or was mean to hear, I appreciated that he let himself be that in front of her and no one else.

And you're soooooooo right......his love for Anokhi became limitless! And he surpassed his father by being able to stand by his love as well, not just in words but actions.

Poor little rich boy is all Shaurya! Has all the worldly goods and comforts but lives with a bitter and broken heart!

I always felt while Shaurya had Aastha's ego and zid. He loved like Shaan. Like a man with no tomorrow.

He would've been wrecking if she walked away. Everything he did was just to ensure she stays. Same emotional dependency as Shaan.

@bold: I wish we had gotten a longer separation track. I wanted to see some sad Shaurya scenes! I also wanted some acknowledgement from Shaurya that he finally understood his father's pain. Even though Shaan was a neglectful parent....and that is unforgiveable.......he was also really hurt by the loss of his wife, which everyone discounted, even his son.

I had the same wish, the he realizes what his father felt and why was he still connected to his mother even after 25 years!

Honestly, the 2 day separation we got where shaurya went full idgaf was because he knew Anokhi was hiding something and he wanted her to regret it. But if she went away, I wanted to see that and that kind of angst and separation. KV and Deba would have killed it!
