It was an extremely normal and cliched premise but what set it apart was the writing and execution. KZK just showed nonsense in the name of conflict. FL agreeing to marry an old man, ML insulting her after sleeping with her because he was blackmailed by psycho angle, FL ditching ML at alter because she made a deal with new guy, ML throwing FL off bridge because he is protecting her- that's utter crap in the name of drama 😂 I'd rather take Dev being impulsive and breaking up with Sona because he is stupid, short sighted and loses track of right and wrong when it involves his mom. Also Ishwari was never supposed to be a planning and plotting vamp. She did not plot to get Sonakshi killed or kidnapped or other random shit. She is what you call grey. She was unbearable and frustrating but she wasn't a conniving vamp. The conflicts in Kuch Rang were way more real and written way better too. You can find a guy like Dev in reality. A mother in law like Ishwari and even a daughter in law like Sonakshi. But you won't find the stupidity which happened in KZK in reality. That's what sets KRP apart IMO

Yes, they had that realism within themselves. But, I find Bose family more realistic. Each and every character is relatable. Regarding Dixits, I cannot say that they are relatable or unrelatable. But the characters are quite 'tried and tested' only except Neha. Nothing like unique characters (I consider Sonakshi as unique, a little). In Kuch Rang, the good thing is the complexity which other shows too have but they give horrendous ending to complex issues while here they gave a decent ending. But one thing is clear. Sonakshi, Dev and Ishwari type people exists in society.

Regards comparison and all, I think this show is not worth the hype it had already. It is not any path breaking show. Just a saas bahu drama with additional mental torture and minimal realism.

I think it had hype because it was better than most shows on TV and I do think it deserved the hype. Yes it was saas bahu drama in a way but not the typical saas bahu drama which happens in most shows. And the conflicts were also internal and not caused by vamps and third angles which is what made it different. So I guess we can agree to disagree ♥️

Patnaiks are psychos who torture the audience with their so called realistic stories. I have watched 4 shows of them and four of them were equally torturous (though they started beautifully).

B - Dev Babu might have thought that someone intend to surprise him🤣🤣🤣. But honestly, I didn't even think about that. He should call the sweeper and clean it all.

It deserves hype for sure. But not like saying, it will compete Hollywood movies or any other high content projects. That was quite delusional of them. I am glad that here no one is that crazy for this show (as best). But in YT, they say that it was like novel, bacha swap happens in real etc etc... People over there rarely questions Dev's behaviour and they throw all the fault on Ishwari, Neha and GKB.

I thought may b ayush father evil n plotting to fix that child. And then track changed. They made ayush good child and put soha in such a bad light, some audience started hating soha initially. Later after seeing bokwas track ppl started to voice out against ayush. They had really something else in their mind. Actors promoted ayush. But I really wished it was scam or dev's blast from past. I felt makers can throw anything and I will watch? I took my badla not watching that track😆.

Honestly, I think they are just going as it comes.. they don't seem to have a proper plan!

All of a sudden the new entry gets so much screen space and makes us hate her all the more . I would rather watch Bijoy n Sourabh than Sanj .🤬

Not sure about the mark maybe something related to the treatment for her voice issue.
