For me story is same same but presented in different format. Dixits were too plotting n blackmailing(mami, neha, esh). Dev too did to sona. Dev's harrassmement for sona to work for him, and esh's prenuptual, infertility track n post leap how esh said sona moved on etc. Mami burnt her own house to move into dixit mansion. And then Vicky troubling dev. There were all same plotting n blackmailing. Dev too so arrogant n he troubled sona so much. Sona too like other shows forgiving mahanatha. For me story was same and presented in different format. And I found major difference in presentation is dixits are given clean chit after giving all trouble to bose family with out apology. Other hand victims went on apologising. So, yes there is difference😆.

Infact certain vampish behaviour not shown in other itv shows I guess or I don't know if they hv shown. Like esh keeping devakshi seperate after wedding n not allowing them to go honey moon and then forcing daughter in law for medical treatment. I don't know in other shows they went into this much torture. Krp one level up in torturing DIL. I think most of the shows where ML family tries best to show DIL is not good n try to show her as theif something like that. All they do is plotting to seperate couple n send FL away. (I am only guessing as I hv hardly watched saas bahu serials). I was mostly into star one shows. So my knowledge is very limited😆

But execution is what matters na? Kuch Rang never had a out of the box path breaking story. It was about this guy who had this toxic co dependant relationship with his mom & how their lives change when this girl enters their life. It was an extremely normal and cliched premise but what set it apart was the writing and execution. KZK just showed nonsense in the name of conflict. FL agreeing to marry an old man, ML insulting her after sleeping with her because he was blackmailed by psycho angle, FL ditching ML at alter because she made a deal with new guy, ML throwing FL off bridge because he is protecting her- that's utter crap in the name of drama 😂 I'd rather take Dev being impulsive and breaking up with Sona because he is stupid, short sighted and loses track of right and wrong when it involves his mom. Also Ishwari was never supposed to be a planning and plotting vamp. She did not plot to get Sonakshi killed or kidnapped or other random shit. She is what you call grey. She was unbearable and frustrating but she wasn't a conniving vamp. The conflicts in Kuch Rang were way more real and written way better too. You can find a guy like Dev in reality. A mother in law like Ishwari and even a daughter in law like Sonakshi. But you won't find the stupidity which happened in KZK in reality. That's what sets KRP apart IMO

I will not take both. Both are not my favourite.

But both are different stories. Why I feel kzk was less tortours, as ML never intended to hurt FL. (however stupid it was). Here dev is hurting upright n behave victim. Which is good?

And I cannot relate to both shows. I never felt realism in the story. I took it as a 2 different story telling. Krp definitely execution was better. Beautiful bg music, good dialogues, simple make up though costume was bad. Where as kzk was OTT in everything be it music, make up or costume. The show was sold as OTT show. We cannot expect normal things. I watched both shows only for eri. I loved her acting and expression. Something in eri which attracts me.

Betwn do you know many youtuber created prerna inspired make up.😆. Bcoz of this sns I am exploring human psychology. Each one taste is different. Something which I like other may find tad.

Fully agree with you. Have said this in another thread too. So done with Dev or men in general wanting to play the protector who shields women from anything unpleasant or difficult in life, assuming that they won’t be able to take it. Dev needs to do Sona the courtesy of treating her as his equal in every way, an intelligent and strong woman who can deal with life’s knocks as capably as she can. Probably even better. And husband and wife are supposed to be a team. They should sort this issue out together. No need for Dev to be all noble and protective.

You have doubts ? 😂 He obviously won't , all in the name of eternal love for Sona . The lesson Dev learnt from the counselling was Bheegi Bheegi Raatein is the solution to all marital problems . 😂

But the reason to hurt her was stupid na? I can't take a show seriously when both leads keep marrying different ppl every few months and guy pushes girl of a bridge because he cares for her. Even if he is the best husband in the world, I can't take this story seriously 😂

I didn't watch Kuch Rang for any actor tbh. I started because I liked the initial promos & gave it a chance and loved it. I liked Shaheer and Erica in the show but the best part about the show was the writing. It's what made the show what it was. In every department, Kuch Rang trumps KZK and every show Ekta has made IMO. Of course you can like KZK and Anurag more (I mean you are entitled to your opinion:)) but I just wanted to explain why I think Kuch Rang was superior. Kuch Rang had better writing than 80 percent of the shows on TV

Yes exactly ! How come they don’t show such scenes in this so-called realistic show? Isn’t that how an actual boss/ CEO would react on seeing his cabin out of the blue decorated with rose petals ?! He should have instantly called someone to clear it away and should have demanded an explanation for how this happened without anyone’s knowledge ? Hello, where was his secretary, receptionist, anyone ?? Did Sanj drug them all ?😆

All of you are saying that Dev's character has changed this season...so yes I have doubts.

Yes...as I said the other day...maybe it's been ages since they were on proper talking terms before the counseling sessions. So he is making up for the time he lost on 😆
