Negative role in the sense, misplacing kids... As Krpkab doesn't have full fledged negative roles where Ishwari, GKB and even Vicky was promoted as greyish.

I really don't know what exactly they had in mind for ayush track. In the beginning they showed soha asking sona, if evil Prince comes in disguise of good and take her away, what she will do. I thought may b ayush father evil n plotting to fix that child. And then track changed. They made ayush good child and put soha in such a bad light, some audience started hating soha initially. Later after seeing bokwas track ppl started to voice out against ayush. They had really something else in their mind. Actors promoted ayush. But I really wished it was scam or dev's blast from past. I really wanted soha as their biological child. Nothing against that child actor but I could not connect to him. I stopped watching only bcoz of that character. I felt makers can throw anything and I will watch? I took my badla not watching that track😆.

But do you think they wanted to bring this sanj track, bcoz of that they made soha as not biological daughter?

He said good she cannot bcom mother n home breaker, gold digger etc. But in kzk male lead apologised n expressed how much he loves her. Here sona forgives without proper apology..🤣. Huge difference between these two show is here ML behaves bechara n victim after committing mistakes n after making FL lead life he'll n there not.🤣

I feel bg music is playing major role here which is making different from other shows.

Yes, I agree. That differentiates Anurag and Dev. For me the worst part was Dev slapping Bijoy (accidentally though) and the infertilty track. Those were pure torture.

B - I agree with you here. This show has the best background scores. Around all the BGMs were nice. Yeah, Oh oh oh and Sanjana theme gives nightmares sarcastically. Otherwise, they were also quite good.

I liked Ayush as that kid is so cute. In fact, the selection of child artistes in the show was fabulous. My favorite is the first Suhana and how she speaks.❤️ But yeah, it is too hard to digest the fact that Suhana is not their daughter. How could they even think of that? Can't they show Sonakshi delivering twins and one of the child is stolen? I know Sonakshi cannot deliver twins as she had a lot of complications but it is better than what they have shown.

No no... I don't think so. They need someone to claim Soha for custody (maybe court case type) as the adoption track is not as simple as it seems. The claimer is Sanjana now. If they show her as a white character and she claim for Soha, most of them sympathize and may support Sanjana. So they added the grey shade by going behind Dev and then the revelation of Sanjana's identity happens.

No the difference is the writing. Kuch Rang for all its flaws wasn't a typical ITV show where MIL was planning and plotting murders & there was no psycho third angle. Most conflicts between Dev and Sonakshi were internal. They didn't show Dev or Sonakshi agreeing to marry random ppl because they were blackmailed. They didn't show Dev insulting Sonakshi before everyone or pushing her off a bridge because he was protecting her from someone. In most shows, including KZK, the premise was that the lead couple were perfect for each other but kept getting separated because of external circumstances aka evil MIL or psycho third angle or blackmail from a new character. Here the writers never tried to show Dev and Sonakshi as perfect couple. Their break up was because Ishwari overdosed out of guilt & Dev being short-sighted & looking for a stupid solution and being insensitive in the process. The eventual divorce also was not because of the MU created by Vicky. That was more of the tipping point. It's because of everything else that played out before which laid the base for the misunderstanding. The biggest difference between Kuch Rang S1 and KZK is not acting or bgm or anything else but the writing. Kuch Rang had great writing esp for 150 plus episodes. There was a reason why they fell in love and there was a reason why they broke up. Most other shows make the leads fall in love without any proper reason & the separation is also contrived. Apology or no apology aside, Durjoy Dutta as a writer >>> And yes Dev and Sonakshi >>>> (irrespective of the actors playing it)

I honestly think it's really unfair to compare a show like Kuch Rang with KZK or most other shows on TV for that matter. Yes it had flaws. Yes a lot of tracks could have been dealt with in a better way. Yes S3 sucks. But KRP S1 is one of the best I have seen on Indian TV (esp the first 150 episodes). The writing, the acting (the entire cast and not just the leads), the styling, the cinematography- everything was on point

I can’t comment on KZK because I haven’t watched the show

I really loved the S 1 of Kuch Rang , I watch the show for content not for actors .., I liked every thing in Season 1 it was beautiful & different

For sure. They could have shown Dev and Sonakshi having contrived trip and fall scenes and or being forced together due to circumstances..But it was a gradual process of them discovering eachother and falling in love. It wasn't a simple hate to love or friendship to lovers arch. It was a mixture & very organic. Also Ishwari did not randomly hate Sonakshi for no reason because she was a classist planning and plotting MIL. In fact it was shown that she really liked Sona initially. She just didn't want anyone else in Dev's life and she saw the impact Sona had on him which is what made her so insecure. Similarly they could have made Natasha a rich bimbo but she never once put down Sona and moved on the moment she knew Dev loved someone else. Also, they could have shown Ritvik as a psycho and the marriage breaking so Sonakshi going back to Dev (just because he is better than the psycho third angle) but they repeatedly highlighted how mature Ritvik was. Kuch Rang was a class act esp in rhe first 150 episodes ♥️
