Akshaye Khanna was spotted in high spirits at a bar launch and left the venue with his glass in hand

Akshaye Khanna's character was eternally tipsy in the Abbas-Mustan thriller Race, which released recently.

In a case of reel life spilling on to the real, the actor was seen in high spirits at the opening of a city bar on Wednesday night.

At the event, Akshaye was seen avoiding photographers and requested them not to click him.

Says an eyewitness, "Akshaye entered the room in high spirits. He was falling all over, hugging everyone and backslapping people like they were his long-lost buddies. At one point, he was even trying to light another cigarette though he was smoking one already!" 😆

While leaving, two friends helped him find his car which was driven by a chauffeur. "And his glass gave him company in the car as well!" adds the eyewitness.

Back in October 2007, the actor was spotted at the Karma and Liquid Lounge, Opera House, in a similar state. In both cases, the lensman captured the actor tottering around.
