the same man who went on to clarify a kiss, valentine's day to his friend, can atleast clarify to Sai, his wife, his love......He can tell her that she is finding it difficult to move on and I am there as a friend..I dont see her as anything else...

I shouldn’t have used the word doubt because she is always sure about Pakhi. She doesn’t doubt but is sure that Pakhi would feel troubled after Samrat’s return, hence would have wanted to talk to Virat. Sai is also sure that Pakhi was trying to show her tears to try to melt Virat. Pakhi’s actions obviously can make anyone in Sai’s position be sure of what Pakhi wants.

I agree that he said that it is over long ago and I was irritated that she didn’t even listen or wants to consider it.

My views on him talking to family differs. He can or should have told the truth to Sai and brother if not for the whole family. His spouse deserves to know the truth and so does Samrat. Relationships shouldn’t or cannot sustain when it is based on lies. Only honesty would help.

But here Sai does not want to accept this.in her mind she has created a whole story of virat pakhi.she is not ready to accept anything else.

I don’t deny that she is not ready to accept anything else. The whole situation and the turn of events can make her believe it but I would still like her to consider that he can be telling the truth when he says that it is over.

Even in yesterday’s episode, it was like a wife would scold their husband asking if she was crying to you, don’t you have sense to stay in your limits, what was the need to even hold her hands 🤣.

Maybe she thinks if Pakhi is able to manipulate him, he must have some residual feeling that he himself is not admitting to.

What you said about her scolding him as a wife, it reminded me of the other night, when she asked what was the need to go to their room that late at night?? After that she did say he is going to repent it.

If he saw things from her perspective .. especially about Pakhi, he should be able to see that their behaviour would look odd to a third person..like her friends at the coffee shop.

I actually liked today's episode. Virat showed his displeasure at Pakhi's insinuations. But he is so maddeningly polite to her, I feel like shaking him.

This is again because she puts virat on a pedestal. She sees him as a person who could sacrifice anything for what he believes. She thinks virat likes her or tries to be with her in marriage because he can’t be with pakhi. She thinks his love for her is only pity because he is good man who will be a husband if he had to. She thinks it’s a compromise for him not his desire. That’s where her problem is:

the handholding and him taking away transfer made her believe that he can’t see pakhi moving on!

He is obligated to say the truth to samrat. He wronged samrat by hiding about his equation with pakhi & giving immoral vaada to pakhi now again wronging samrat by telling lie about pakhi reason for meeting him outside alone at cafe. If he can't tell the truth then atleast should have told only his side of story instead of talking on behalf of pakhi too when he knows pakhi side of truth is different. Let's imagine if pakhi is not his ex. And he saw his brother's wife talking to her ex at cafe by holding hands what he would have done? Wouldn't he told the truth to his brother or will say poor pakhi bhabi is so confused with her emotions so she might have met her ex alone to take advice from him?

I didn't say he did the right thing by hiding the truth from samrat. But I believe it's understandable that he will preserve pakhis image infront of everyone bec it's attached to his image too. He can be questioned on eloping part . Pakhi wont suggest this out of the blue unless he encouraged her . Pakhi can also turn the tables on him . Anyways, the fact that they were holding hands is known to all. it was kept open to interpretation . Samrat trusted virat . But sai didn't. I don't blame her for that..

this is something I believe too! But I don’t understand why he can’t say it to sai. Atleast tell her that pakhi was unable to move on and cried. He just consoled her. Need not reveal all the crap she said so not to be misunderstood but that much atleast he could.

Yeah exactly...she knows he will stay in this marriage because he likes her normally and can move on with her since he is ot going to be with pakhi and she does not want to be his rebound or get him as her husband out of pity...
