Locking a woman in the room...abusing her mentally is domestic violence ..Being a silent spectator is being a a part of the violence...Devi was manhandled as well by Kaku...Domestic violence is not just about DILs ...can happen to daughters as well..

Domestic violence is a crime, there is an act to address the crime, do let me know which part of that act says Samrat was a part of violence, when the show did not give background information and as an army officer how often do you think he visited home and how much did he know about her condition, do we have any information? It is a crime, there’s no grey area here. Either he is a criminal or he is not

His dialogues that it's the first time that something like this happened, did he forget sais accident?

The worst dialogue and the one that should ring alarm bell for sai is virat saying ' why did u make me do this sai'. Typical question from abusers, they tactically put the blame for all that has happened on the victim. Virat asked sai not to go to college, she disobeyed he got angry.Virat problem is that he is not understanding that there was no need for anger or anger of that measure , that he had issues controlling his anger..But instead put the blame on sai, its because of your attitude I got angry so you have to bear the consequences.

If they are not an ITV couple , it's high time they separated.

There is no constant writing there...But Devi was treated the way she was for 10 whole years till Sai came in.....So I do think Samrat was there for holidays for a good duration of time...Like I said...keeping apart what Virat has done to Sai...if he is blamed for being a silent spectator to the crime committed towards Devi...so should be Samrat...

I wonder if Samrat had locked Patralekha in the room when she was behaving harsh to him how would Virat and CN folks react? Would they buy Samrat 's "I am trying to teach discipline to her" excuse.

Omg how dare you even think like that? Patralekha ko lock karne ka soch bhi kaise aayi. Chavans and Virat will blast you for the thought first and next will be Samrat's turn. Family would have broken down the door to free her.

Samrat hopefully will never do that, his 1 year away from Chavans hopefully changed him for better and will never illtreat Pakhi or any woman. After living with orphanage kids and also without a family himself would have shown him the reality of people without family and how much they crave for love.

Exactly CN are the biggest hypocrites. They clearly are differentiating between the bahus. Had Sai been coming from a well to do Marathi family even if orphaned (up to kaku standards) she may have been accepted….it is not like they love Pakhi, they don’t….but just their hate for Sai overpowers their fake love for Partrelekha.

Here had Samrat does same Virat did, even Sai would have fought Samrat to free Pakhi. But Pakhi just knows how to draw a deeper wedge in an already cracked relationship. She is an opportunist who will go low to get want she wants, disregarding who gets hurt. That is her true nature. Virat should be thanking his lucky starts Pakhi is not his wife. She would at some point would have made his life unbearable. Apologies for digressing from main topic. Going back to DV, had Samrat does something like to Pakhi..Virat and entire CN would have come to Pakhi’s side. But since this was Sai everyone just pretende this to be normal,

The factor that makes sai more vulnerable is that she is an orphan with no financial support. It makes virat think himself as her sole owner ( he use the term guardian , but no way even parents behave in such way to teach discipline) to whom she is answerable. He disregards the fact she is her own individual even if she is his ward or wife.

Also sai coming from a lesser background, her age adds to it. For virat sai is a immature child woman whom he needs to control or mould according to his wishes.

You can get the answer in the scene where Pakhi is crying and her mom enters and look at Chavans and Virat's face..They get worried... Have you ever seen them this worried when Sai would cry for herself??

The fact that in yesterday’s episode, Mansi Bua could stop Samrat and ask P and her mom to go up - I am sure only since her mother is there - this is what the difference is when you have no one. Still not watching but happy Samrat is shown to be smart about a few things. Hope they don’t butcher him also.
