👏 Thank you makers for this. Finally, someone addressed the issue of domestic violence being practiced by a police officer and how it is not limited to physical abuse, although there is physical abuse too but to a larger extent every woman in the house is victim of mental harassment.
I wish they raise this issue and make their house a better place for women rather than limiting it to FL because every woman and man deserves to live with dignity and peace.

But again calling it domestic violence and FL not filing a complaint is off putting, when you have addressed something as a crime then show what can be done to get justice, if you have raised sensitive issues bring it to the correct conclusion

I agree just mentioning Dv is not enf. But it need to be taken to a logical conclusion.

You never know how it could inspire a person to take the step

Many years back when I almost gave up since most of legal possibilities were looking bleak. A story of breaking DV barriers in IPKNND forum gave me an idea and I succeeded in achieving my freedom

Sai is just going to return to her abuser husband despite having strong support systems like Samrat, Pulkit, DIG Sir, the law, her education, scholarship, dormitory facilities on her side, which is why it’s becoming difficult for me to empathise with her. Not sure if she even recognises what she is facing is domestic violence. These topics are trivialised in the show and they only add these *big words* for DRAAAMAAAA.

That's one of the reasons why the trps are high. Yes there is abuse in the name of drama but characters ARE called out for their behavior from time to time.. be it pakhi or kaku or virat . I am happy they r not being glorified.

For the first time domestic violence was called a domestic violence in the show.. Warna in a way everyone in the show has been part of it..all the characters including Samrat..😆

Samarat calling out domestic abuse was good. But virats expression and his dialogues were a total put off.His expressions were that of a person misunderstood and scolded by his elder brother , when it's his wife whose is at fault.

His dialogues that it's the first time that something like this happened, did he forget sais accident?

The worst dialogue and the one that should ring alarm bell for sai is virat saying ' why did u make me do this sai'. Typical question from abusers, they tactically put the blame for all that has happened on the victim. Virat asked sai not to go to college, she disobeyed he got angry.Virat problem is that he is not understanding that there was no need for anger or anger of that measure , that he had issues controlling his anger..But instead put the blame on sai, its because of your attitude I got angry so you have to bear the consequences.

If they are not an ITV couple , it's high time they separated.

To be honest, at this moment through FL they are serving the age old He abuses me because he loves me trope, worst part being young girls look up to FL and they will justify her going back to love and subconsciously it will remain as a reason for domestic violence.

Not only going to her abuser husband, this is realization of love for her. There are women who don’t have support of family and are not financially secure, they are stuck in the cycle of abuse, here they are showing how this is part of love. She looked at Virat when Samrat said it and she is daughter of a policeman, when she asks Virat to beat her, she knows what it is and it is her love for Virat. I did empathize with her at first, now I don’t.

They have never been glorified except for Ninad and Kaku’s actions against her daughter
