Yash Raj's romantic flick Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi starring Shah Rukh Khan and Sonam Kapoor will also star Amitabh Bachchan.
"Big B will be playing the role of Sonam Kapoor's father in the film," confirms our source and adds, "Sonam will be playing a modern cum traditional character. She will be seen as part of a typical Punjabi family."
Sonam is also very excited about working with SRK. "She will fall in love with the superstar in the film so her new role will attract all her fans. But she is also very nervous about it," says the source.
There is a buzz that Deepika Padukone has been signed for the movie. "Yeah and Sonam is very unhappy with it as she doesn't like Deepika…everybody knows why," reveals the source.
Sonam's last shooting schedule for Dilli 6 will start from 2nd week and then she will head to Punjab to shoot for this film. "Her shooting schedule will stretch up to 1 months and then her next schedule will start by the end August end," says the source.
Aditya Chopra directed Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi will be releasing on December 12. There is a buzz that Rani Mukherjee is doing an item number in it.
