| PART-1 |
Cue: 14th Sept's episode
Pallavi was sad that all her effort of dressing up as the Telugu wife went in vain, first because of her friend-turned-SIL-turned-foe Keerti and then devar-dearest Farhad's phone call. Her husband, the great Raghav Rao, was undoubtedly awestruck after seeing her in this attire, but then Keerti started yelling for her husband and Raghav was back to sulking. She could totally understand his reason of being hurt. Even she loved her first sasural, which she considered to be her maternal home, a lot. Here, Keerti was Raghav's own blood sister and he couldn't see her life getting ruined. However, the problem was that Pallavi didn't know how to pacify him. She couldn't bear his silent treatment anymore.
Lost in thoughts, Pallavi had reached the hall where the Ganesh murti was placed. Jaya was already present there and saw Pallavi for the first time that day. She saw her whole attire from top to bottom and smiled sweetly.
"Pallavi.."
Jaya's gentle call brought Pallavi back to the reality. For a moment, she couldn't believe that Amma was talking to her normally again.
"Bohot sundar dikh raha hain tum. Mera bahu ko kisika nazar na lage," Jaya took some kohl and applied behind Pallavi's ear to ward off evil eyes.
"Amma..."
Pallavi grinned, thinking that at least her mother-in-law's anger had melted. But before she could talk with her any further, she had left.
Now, one thing was clear to Pallavi that the Raos' anger was very unique. They might be super angry at her, but they'll do everything to keep her happy because of their unconditional love for her. She felt blessed to be a part of this wonderful family and couldn't wait for everything to be normal and happy like before.
By the time Jaya disappeared into the hallway to her room, Raghav had arrived to seek blessings before leaving for office. His eyes met with Pallavi's for a split second before he shifted his complete focus on the idol. If eyes could burn, his eyes would be the ones with the ability. Maybe he already had that power because she could feel the flames of angerv oozing from his eyes.
Shaking her head sideways, she picked up the empty thali and turned to leave for the kitchen but stopped when her kamarband loosened and fell off her waist. She made an annoyed clicking noise with her tongue and picked up the jewellery, "Haan, haan, ab yeh bhi nahi rehna chahta mere saath!" She talked with the inanimate object and pouted like a baby.
This time when she turned to leave, she felt her hand being held back. She looked back and found Raghav swiftly slipping the kamarband out of her fist and taking it in his hand. He slowly raised his eyes from it to her eyes and stepped forward to stand in a close proximity.
His eyes, unwavering from hers, maintaining an eye-lock, while his long and rough fingers glided across her bare waist to wrap the kamarband around. She gulped hard due to the sensations caused by his intense gaze and touches. The raging anger had changed to something softer, like the gaze from the morning before Keerti interrupted their moment.
Meanwhile, the kamarband was adamant of not staying in its place. Its hook seemed to have become loose. His eyes left hers to take a look at the task at hand. He tried again to hook it again, but in vain. Then he kneeled down to take a closer look at the annoying little piece of jewellery.
Her one hand was holding the empty thali while her other hand trailed upwards along the length of his arm to finally rest on his shoulder. She didn't really need to do that, but she wanted to and so she did. He gave a quick glance at her hand resting on his shoulder before giving attention to the stupid kamarband. The hook needed to be forced closed. So, without any thought, he grabbed the hook between his teeth and pressed the hook closed.
"Umm..." A moan escaped Pallavi's mouth involuntarily as his lips had accidentally brushed her bare waist.
That is the moment when they realized their location, position and surroundings. They were in the middle of the house, where anyone could walk on in at any second and see him was kneeling before her and she had just moaned quite audibly.
She had become red as a tomato, he noticed because he had looked up at her while she frantically scanned around to confirm that no one else was present. He smirked at her cuteness, which went unnoticed by her.
Like always, their moment was cut short. But still time the voice, booming across the hall, was unknown.
"Jise poora Hyderabad jhuk ke salam karta hain, aaj vo ek ladki ke samne jhuka hua hain? Wah! Kya nazara hain!"
It was a feminine voice. Raghav had gotten up to stride angrily towards the beholder of the voice, a government servant, wearing the khaki uniform. However, he was beaten to the unsaid race by his wife and she was surprisingly depicting the same anger as him. She was truly his equal.
"Excuse me..." Pallavi gathered the officer's name from her nameplate, "...Officer Laxmi Singh. Aap ko pata hona chahiye ki kisi ke bhi ghar mein kabhi bhi ghuse chale ana nahi chahiye, ise trespassing kehte hain. Isska law bhi hain ek! IPC section 441. Aap ko pata hi hoga." Pallavi said with her signature sweet but dangerous smile.
How calmly Pallavi just taunted the officer and how surprised the inspector looked, urged Raghav to laugh out loud but he had to contain his amusement given the seriousness of the moment.
"Aap zarur Mrs. Rao hongi," Laxmi said after taking a look at Pallavi from bottom to top. "Abhi abhi mera transfer hua hain Hyderabad mein aur aate hi Mr. Rao ke bohot charche sune hain. Par yeh nahi suna tha ki unnki biwi unnke takkar ki hain. Manna padega... Made for each other lagte hain aap dono. Ek law ki baatein karne wali aur dusre...." Laxmi deliberately trailed off with her eyes shifting from Pallavi to Raghav.
Raghav was now alerted. He didn't want to continue this conversation any further in front Pallavi. "Aap ki dialogue baazi khatam hogaya ho toh kaam ki baat karle, ACP Laxmi Singh?"
"Of course, Mr. Rao." Laxmi replied to Raghav and then turned to face Pallavi, "Mujhe yaha dekhke aap darr matt jaiyega, Mrs. Rao."
"Darr? Jab kuch galat kia nahi toh darr kis baat ka?"
Laxmi was amazed to see Pallavi's confidence. "Kuch zyada hi bharosa nahi karti aap apne pati pe?"
"Aur aap kuch zyada hi personal nahi ho rahi hain? Jo kaam karne ayi hain vo kijiye, humare relationship pe comment nahi. Ardhamainda?" This time Pallavi glared at her because even her niceness had a limit. She didn't wait to receive any reply and quickly spun around to leave. "Akhri baat... Jaate waqt prasad zaroor leti jaana." She said and made an exit like the queen she was.

Hope y'all enjoyed this!
I loved the tashan between Raghav-Laxmi and Sunny-Pallavi but would love to see a war of words between the two females as well. Should be fun to watch
As for the kamarband thing, I saw people wanting to see such a scene since Pallavi's recent outfits have been the most gorgeous but Raghav toh muu phula ke baetha hain toh show mein aisa kuch milega nahi
