I really am not sure if she will be able to move into the "love" zone after the sympathy thing. Sympathy is a very strong feeling in and of itself and i doubt it will leave any space in her heart to let another strong emotion like love grow.

Not to mention anuj might start pulling away from her if he feels she married him out of sympathy since he is adamant on not forcing his feelings on her and also because receiving mere sympathy from the person you love can be pretty heartbreaking

Totally agree with you 😊❤️. Which is why I don't want a marriage out of sympathy. I want her to fall for him 😊❤️

Falling in love isn’t only about raging hormones but it’s about liberation, companionship and joy.

It’s high time we came over the trope of motherly women being desexualised and only age appropriate behaviour expected out of them being motherly love.

I agree dear. Love can happen at any age. But for Anuama’s character, the way she’s portrayed currently and the way she tries to do the ‘right’ thing every time, I don’t see it happening.

She deserves to be happy. But everyone finds happiness in different things. It does not have to be love or marriage. If she falls it’s well and good. She can marry or even stay in a platonic relationship with Anuj. Who are we to dictate?

I wish writers had planned story this way:

- after anupama-v divorce, she moves out to her mom -brothers home

- bapuji gave a big chunk of home and other property to anupama

- vanya troubles her for property as vanya lost jobs and needs money for startup....etc

- anuj had failed marriage and got tired of his ex.... cases for alimony, false accuses etc... moves india....

- his ex follows and troubles him here.... in same court he meets anupama (there for her own cases)....

- as they knew each other from school time, they re-introduce them selves and chat a bit

- eventually after some visits to court, they share each others pain of being troubled by ex , legal troubles...... and start to be moral support of each other... after a while...

- in that process they meet - hang out....for discussion/to get diverted from problems......eventually start to like...each other's company / support / companionship.. and make a space in each other's heart/life...

- after those cases are resolved they are not meeting that often and realize they can not live without each other, want to spend rest of the life together.... THAT IS WHAT I CALL LOVE! (not this crush from college, no one stays single for a crush in this time)

-.... on their own, they decide to get marry...

(that's how a mature love story looks/feels like - no need to show those blushes, nain matakka and shy-awkwardness, denial mode.... at this age!!!!)

Today when Anupama was advising Samar about how relationships are on two wheels (love and trust), I couldn’t help but think that there is a third - respect. The one aspect that was severely missing from Anupama and Vanraj’s relationship. I want Anuj to distinguish himself by the respect he shows to her, her family, her ideas and thoughts.. and that should show Anupama how an ideal relationship should be

This seems most likely... or the talk of companionship comes up in the show. Due to how we know Anupamaa is...

She deserves to experience love. But i dont see her opening up until she really has to... I think marriage might do that.

Love, Respect and Appreciation etc.

But bear in mind - with Vanraj, she loved him cos he is her husband and total trust in him and belief. Once she saw the evidence with her own eyes of the affair/together... everything in her broke and shut down. The love and trust for Vanraj - shut down. Stopped.

And wonderful thing about Anupamaa is that she treats him and all with humanity.. she doesnt lower herself to V and Kavya dramatics, or cause hurt but she will stand up and answer back now when she has to.

Its hard to even think of loving and trusting someone. With Anuj i think she will get to the friendship stage but not yet sure about Love.... to feel or even realise it
