I totally agree... When I saw posts on Twitter that he is too young I really was skeptical before but after watching him and anu together.. It's like magic on the screen... This character seems like made for him only...

The way she said "Anuj" was very homely

I too had my reservations as he looks too young opposite rupali, but then I thought that there are far too many couples on itv where the male lead looks much older, so what is the problem if the female lead looks older, plus two great fave itv pairs where the female lead was older and looked older too were sangeeta ghosh and ruslaan mumtaaz in sony tv's kehta hai dil jee le zaraa, and karan jotwani and suhasi dhami in zee tv's aap ke aa jaane se. Both these pairs had such great chemistry.

Then gaurav is rocking his scenes with rupali. Loving their pairing so far.

Hmm yeah I had a feeling that rajan shahi must have really thought through when selecting gaurav so I decided to wait for their scenes together to determine how I felt about them.... and the end result was that I loved them the moment I saw the way anuj looked at anu the first time he saw her in the party when the beginning tune of chupana bhi nahi aata played. It was so magical, and gaurav's eyes were mesmerising, and that paired with anu's innocence.... rajan made a great decision.

Yes Gaurav it's the perfect choice he emotes Anuj so well 😊❤️.

And he will not overshadow anu aka rupali like how the prev names suggested might have.

I feel he fits Anuj to the T his smirk, nuances, the looks he gives 😍😍😍😍. I keep yearning for more

Who were the previous suggested names? I only started watching after the reunion party promo aired and never followed the show before to know.

Ram Kapoor or Ronit Roy

there were rumours of ram kapoor, ronit roy but they re too big names and might have overshadowed anu char too

here gaurav is fresh and he fits perfectly and has great chemistry with rupali yet doesnt over shadow so perfect choice

on a personal note, i dont think i would have watched with so much interest and yearning had it been RK or RR ( Subjective opinion). i might have watched for the story might have even skipped a bit and maybe see it only for the story here these two are making me go aww and i cant get enough of it
