Customs works differently.

Basically customs is paid when you import any good or article from outside the country. Raghav imported these diamonds from south Africa. At the port of entry (airport or port), customs needs to be paid. The rate depends on the good or article. Each has a separate rate prescribed.

You can't pay lesser than the prescribed rate. Also, you cant not pay customs because it will not be allowed to leave the port of entry without payment of customs. So Raghav has basically smuggled these and not paid customs duty. I hope I'm able to explain. Its been really long I've looked at the customs laws. I don't specialise in customs but have studied it for my exams

This point was never directly addressed about how dirty he did her. Though she asked him directly after the MU was cleared that he should have asked her directly. Also, I can let it slide because he has always respected her choice, her decision in this marriage. He never once forced her to bend to his will. She will always have an upper hand in this marriage because of the fact that he forced her into it. Also, the ultimate sacrifice of self respect by him in the lota incident, kind of redeemed him completely. He was guilty and he made amends.

@bold : this is why i don't want an apology because he's done it enough already through actions and a verbal one too.

But all i ask for is a good conversation where they understand how bad they did to her and how it affected her internally to a deep length. Even though it was the best decision for her but the actions included were painful and harsh in her self respect.

Because i just cannot stop thinking about how hard it was for her in those 3 years to gather some respect among the people after being a young widow that too on the wedding night itself. A heart breaking scenario after which people must have taunted her for even smiling, wearing colors, being around happy occasions. It would have taken soo much of courage to stand up and create that respect among the society but he ruined it in seconds. Crumbling her hard work down the drain.

Guys main forum is bashing ground for the middle-class lecture. Why am I not surprised.

I agree it was out of place her lecturebaazi but I don't disagree with her comments. She's not used to such expensive jewelry but she did seem happy he got it for her and thanked him.

Also, I am totally on board with Pallavi shouting at him for lying about his shady ways. Anything happening to him directly impacts her and he can't isolate both on the pretext of business matters. Raghav needs to reconsider his ways now that he has a family to think about.
